    I think if he retired I still think he would of been a HoFamer he's a 3 time DPOY and has recorded two 20 sack seasons in a league where playing defense is harder now than it was back then.

    I know he will be back better than before a person with that much heart and dedication doesn’t know failure. He’s done so much for the city of Houston and for kids that look up to him, he’s the reason why me and my family love him especially my wife she has dreams about my boy jj.

    I'm glad he will be out for the rest of the season. He now has almost a year to fully recover, become healthy and feel less pain

    • @GuessTech
      @GuessTech 7 років тому

      Absolutely. We suck with the spine still to this day and at some point we'll be able to regenerate discs and "properly' restore the spine and all that goes with it - but until then he needs as much time as possible to properly heal and strengthen his core (abs/obliques/lower/mid back) beyond anything he's ever done before to compensate for the injury and surgery.

    I am a Pats fan and I feel the same way about J.J. Watt as I do about Gronk, take the money and retire, enjoy your life. You have to know when to pack it in. He seems like a class act.

    I honestly don't know how these NFL players do it. I played quarterback in high school and a little cornerback and had two mild concussions, sprained some fingers, broke my collar bone, sprained an ankle, and was sore after many games and still sore will playing the next week sometimes.
    Granted I was skinny too but that was just high school.
    The concussions were still considered "getting your bell rung" back then.
    I can't imagine how tough a guy like JJ Watt or Brett Favre is or how their body feels by their mid 30s after playing in high school, college, and the pro level.

      I got a Fused Spine, I used to be a good athlete. Let me tell you a serious back problem really messes with your head. Realizing you can't move in a certain way no longer is not only physical painful, it's mentally painful.

    So, the Papa Johns commercial with Peyton and JJ making cupcakes..... When I first seen it I wondered why JJ Watt was chilling during game day with Peyton and not playing. Two weeks later JJ was out for the season. I call it "The Cupcake Curse". Someone put the jinx on or has predicted the future! Tin foil hats on!! #CupcakeCurse
