Awesome video concise & precise 👌 I’m a new subscriber to your channel 👍 I’ve been watching UA-cam videos on drawing tried some basic exercises and got some basic proportions of the face and finally drew my mom’s portrait for this woman’s day celebration. I want to know as a artist 👩🎨 do I need develop my drawing skills by what I see in real life? Thanks for sharing 🤝
Yes, learning good art skills by drawing from life with the knowledge constructive principles is a great way to learn. What are the "constructive principles" is explained here drawingacademy.com/12-principles-of-constructive-drawing
This is wrong ! The model’s standing pose is not straight, slightly bent on the left side, look at the torso and pelvis bones likewise look at her right leg. How could you mark measurement in such a position?
You are confused about proportions and measurements. All people have different proportions, if all of us would have the same measurements, we would all look the same. The measurements you see in this video are guides what you may measure in life. Every measurement will be individual for each model, however, if you know the general rules, you can see how your model deviates from classical canons and make proportionate and recognizable drawings.

@@DrawingArtAcademy the drawing and a figure are not the same . You draw a woman slightly bent
Dios solo ver los músculos de la chica ya me dan ganas de aprender dibujar
The head is kind of small LOL
Sure, children have bigger heads and adults' heads are proportionally smaller
