claire coffee was a wonderful actress. she made me hate adalind, made adalind pretty funny sometimes ,made me feel sorry for her when she was running with diana and made me love her when she was having kelly.
That line “it’s just not that easy being pregnant cutting up your mom and waiting for someone to kill you” I swear this line made me burst out laughing 😂
Adalind’s growth is amazing. ALL the trouble she went through to get her powers back (working for the royals, having an affair with brothers just to getting pregnant, contaminatio ritualis, almost getting killed, running with her child) only for a couple of seasons later she willingly take a supressor to “lose” her powers temporarily and later on gets sad/worried when they come back. That’s an AMAZING character growth and development
An even better scene in this epi is Adalind talking to her mother's coffin at the cemetery. Hilarious, and one of my top ten scenes from the entire series. "So thanks, Mom, for being dead when I needed you most"
I love Adalind. Claire Coffee did an awesome job. Miss Grimm so much. The whole cast is perfect. You guys have to bring it back in some way. Like a TV movie or web series or spin off. Pretty please!
I agree. Bring them back with the kids older and helping with Grimm duties. The cast got to show just how much a range they have in their acting abilities, going from good to bad or vice versa and other situations that allowed them to flex their talent. It was awe inspiring.
I love how Adalind and Monroe are both like predators and a corpse is just too much for them xD I mean I know that in Adalind's case is because is her mother and probably because she's pregnant but it's still kinda funny xD
Juliette just threw her life with Nick away just too soon! She just gave up as she started enjoying the new powers, may be she felt special with Nick around and the wesen world while Adalind made it work even though she was a heixenbiest, she tried to make the best of her situations, being a mother, alone, even with a child of the Grimm she hated. She never gave up!
How Nick asks how Adiland feels and then lies her down and puts the blanket on her and was hesitant on holding her down at first, and how he didn’t want her to sit up so fast and wanting her to lie back down, I thought was sweet. Ps. Sorry blanket part was another scene I think
Well it would've sounded worse if she said "Like I just ate my mother" 😂😂😂😂 On another note, maybe someone could do a spin-off skit of this, and the title is "How I ate/drank my mother" 😂😂😂😂😂
Claire Coffee was the reason I started watching Grimm in the first place. She was in General Hospital for 2 years and I always liked her character. I really miss this show. Wish they do a new show with the kids as the stars.
It’s funny how you can find a show that’s been on for awhile and watch one episode fall in love and binge watch every season til the last season begins and ends. I watched so much my kids got tired of it lol and will rewatch still.
Unlike with Grimm blood, when the spirit went away, this time the spirit went up a bit, trying to leave and then just went back down into Adalind. The Hexanbiest was dormant for awhile till Tony came back to harrass Rosalie for money and then tried to slap Adalind and then it came back out.
I think she loved her mother and her mom cared about her but was too set in her ways and her nature as a heixenbeast to be the mother Adalind wanted and probably needed.
Monroe is always humorous hahahahaha, even just with his expression is such a great reaction to see “Me? I’m vegan.” [Rosalee stabbing the corpse] ugh (cough cough) 😷 [while Rosalee look for organs] standing still with his face crumple together and popping his eyes out😖 [on the tongue part] deep breath... oh god, please kill me... 😫 “So... how long does mom have to cook?” And that knocking sound saved him from throwing up🤣🤣🤣 He’s definitely the best character within this show, I love him so much😂😂😂
i like it bc it emphasizes that her hexenbiest isn't gone just suppressed, so by starting to move but not going into a full woge it shows the hexenbiest still under there (under her skin). it was a cool inclusion on the writers' parts
I know that she's an apothecary, but Rosalee carved up that hexenbeist like she was a medical examiner. Not a BIT squeamish. Thankfully, only the Wesen world would a person feel compelled to dig and cut up their dead relative to ingest their parts...😆🤣😂
I watch the seasons of Grimm around the clock. Just finished & about 2 watch again! Lol One of the greatest shows ever. The ending always makes me sad..they really need 2 do a spin-off with the children..but do it right! 💖💖
No. It isnt only for the Hexenbiest that was born. It was explained that because Nick took Adalind's powers that way and she got them back. Adalind used parts of herself to take Nick's powers and the same potion with parts of Adalind was used to return those powers. So Nick's blood wouldnt work on Juliette because she has Nick's blood in her through the potion with Adalind.
@@Leiothan88 so in other words, because Juliette has that potion inside of her (which contains Nick’s blood), therefore Nick couldn’t use the same method on Juliette to take her hexenbiest power away? No wonder why it takes them so much work just to make this potion and even dig out Adalind’s mom to make it happen.
Adalind barely drank anything from the jar. 10 sips or so. Why could they not pour some of the potion over in another jar instead of giving it all to the hexenbiest who ddnt wanted to drink it?
What I don't understand is (I probably knew but forgot) is how consuming watered down hexenbeast would make a hexenbeast lose their power? Wouldn't that make them even stronger?
Adalind for a hexenbiest is way too squeamish. Rosalee is more comfortable with the whole process and less disgusted than anyone in the group. Isn't it weird?
She always loved her mother even with how she use to stare at her plus it seems she wasn't using her powers really until the Grimm came in town and she thought she would die so she started scheming and doing messy stuff
I get it, she did it for her baby! But when you remember how she was before becoming a mother, she USED Diana!! Sure, she was still inside Adeline. But she wanted to use her to get her powers back. And through it, Adeline didn't just get her powers, she made Diana into a "super" Hexenbiest! Man, that family has a lot of drama!
it makes sense a lot of sense tho, narratively-speaking as well as for her character. she was a new mother and she didn't consider that she might actually want to keep and love her child once she had it (which is very realistic to first-time moms under duress), and her own complicated/strained relationship with her mother most likely played into this warped perception of her baby, at least at first. and while she got her powers back through diana, she realized almost immediately after having her that she wasn't going to give up her daughter for anything (also normal for first-time mothers). it's actually a little heartbreaking and heartwarming to see how starkly her perception of self regarding her hexenbiest changed at the prospect of another baby. she'd already had one child taken from her before, she wasn't going to lose another one too. to see adalind go from a self-involved character who valued her power/control, to a grieving but determined mother whose priorities shifted from how her powers could benefit her and instead to the children she had, was a phenomenal execution of growth for her character. edit: you also have to understand that adalind has been through enough betrayal already and, by putting herself on the line and choosing to be completely vulnerable to the people who've already betrayed her once before, it just hammers the point in further that she isn't who she used to be.
Errrr why dont just nick give his blood into juliete mouth in stood cooking adalind mother, just like another episod when adalind lost his power at the first time???

thank you. I agree. I just love Adalind's character growth here in season 4 and in season 5. I also love the role reversal of both her and Juliette.
@@subscorpion9560 which also makes perfectly sense with the potion ''Verfluchte Zwillingsschwester'' means cursed twinsister.
This is how you write a strong female character
Because i think she likes being a mother and she's happy to be in a good relationship.
