Nostalgia is hard & new film projects - UPDATE | Sunday 1st September.

I am still finding it hard with nostalgic thoughts, missing old long lost friends and memories but also excited about a new project in prep. Plus new hair! and no I am not in a hospital gown..

nostalgia is a double edged sword. It reminds me of who I wanted to be, and it's good to highlight the times things were well. But it also reminds me of how I'm not who I wanted to be, or who I was. Or of the people that I Iet go when I should have held on.

You summed up my feelings exactly. Not entirely sure how I ended up down this path of thinking about the past. Exactly how you put it, missing how things were but also wishing you have been something different and now let go of the people that made you happy. Not easy.
