Is it just me who misses quests a lot? They weren't nearly as grindy as masteries nd it gave you the thrill of opening chests. It was the only realistic way someone could get a legendary king's chest without wasting gems or ladder.

@@sgrp2706 those are weekly rewards that come like every 5 months, in the special offers, they have stuff like 500 gems for a skin and the brawler for that skin, 10 mega boxes for like 10 bucks, it's ridiculous how many there are

@@idek6585 i roughly knew for some chests how many cards can be pulled. And if I pulled all commons, rare and epics and there is one card still left (back when there was no shining number before you pulled legends) I knew it had to be a legendary
1:04 I believe the reason for it is simply to prevent bots from constantly switching from base to base to try to find an extremely high loot base
Idk I feel like the break feature is enough to prevent that, it would take a long time to drain all gold
@@tihan6 A bot would be able to scout out a base's loot count in under half a second, as it is a computer, and a break happens after four hours with no shield, not to mention you can just scout with a shield on and negate the personal break function. Assuming the bot was th11, it would spend around 28 million gold in 4 hours.
@@Mauritanian1960 well the cloud time is definitely more than 0.5 seconds. Id say 3 seconds at least.
@@morbus5726 Yeah you're right, although it's entirely dependent on your trophies and town hall level, and even then clouding even for 30 minutes with 3 seconds per base would be 600,000 gold, which is above the loot availability of most TH11 bases able to be attacked
I should also say that this method definitely isn't magically stopping bots, it's more just preventing them from going ham and might also be preventing all the find requests from clogging the servers and making clouding worse, although I don't know how good Supercell's servers are

X-Bow targetting air would actually make it WORSE, because it's mostly used as a win condition for it's ability to easily do hilarious damage from afar if you let it connect. And this would just give it more targets, like balloon or lava hound.

What I miss is that the Freeze card didn't do dmg, but every level its duration would increase for something like 0.3 seconds, resulting in 6 seconds of freeze time.
But then the problem is literally the balance of the card when in higher levels where it’s the only card that’s objectively better besides rage. But nobody uses rage lol.

I think they should bring back the quests for the pass royale. That you have to do special challanges to earn crowns (or something different) to level up the pass. Would be funnier than just collecting crowns

they should add clan chest back for weekends exactly like for coc the clan capital. working together as a clan other than wars
I feel bringing clan chest back once or twice a month should be a good idea
But for clan wars i think clan wars 1 was much better than this clan wars and I also miss the first clan war in clash Royale after seeing the updates clan wars
Lmao Clan Wars 1 was dogwater as it often contained cards you never even bothered to upgrade and matches tended to be filled with over leveled players

I think heal spell was really good when it was 1 elixir cause the new heal spirit is really uncontrollable but heal spell its like rage you know what time and where you wanna use it

@@AdolfRizzler41 it's not for example if you use 1 elixir skeleton at the mid near River on an e barb heal spirit, the heal spirit is gonna jump on the skeletons and them the heal spell will be useless, and the heal spell has more area.
Actually heal spell is broken when three musketeers was thing beacuse to counter that meta they use poision and zap just to kill it but beacuse of the heal spell it destroy that strategy to counter it

I feel like they should add some way to get Mega Lightning Chest easier... It comes like once in 400 chests... I would put it in shop or somewhere even if it costs 2000 gems
Something a lot of people forget is not only did Xbow used to target air, it also had enough range where you could put a Tesla in front of it and still shoot the tower, making it really annoying to counter.

I used to abuse "opponent left the game" thing soo much. I would just dissconect and reconect, bait out enemy win conditions defend and place prince in other lane for punishing... i miss it soo much

They neeeeeed to bring back quests. I love spending a ton of time grinding them and opening a nice chest at the end of all off it. It felt so satisfying:)
I miss the heal spell it was one of my favorite cards in the old days but now they replaced it with something way worse

Xbow targeting air was a rework bc it targeted towers more but was not as good on defense.
well technically the heal spell can heal skeletons and minions from tornado while the spirit can't
when they were up, super magical chest were damn good, because they released it early when we had 5-6 legendaries and where pretty rare; it was constantly giving them to you. definitely missing it, even if it has been replaced

This is sorta why I've stopped trying to get into supercell games in general. Their concepts are great, but they make way too many questionable decisions that ultimately makes their games worse. In no game is that more apparent than in Brawl Stars lmao

I nearly have the exact same opinion for this list but I muss the quests a lot. They weren't a hard like the masteries and you wasnt forced to grind one card to get a reward. And I remember that I was sooo close to a legendary chest and then the quests got removed :(
you missed free chests, the feeling of getting a legendary out of one of those (without the new animation) was insane

I’m quite proud of myself (and arrogant) for getting legendary trophies before leagues. I first started the game around 5 ish months after release (Never saw paying gold to play or wizard for king tower), but after many hours of grind and wasting money I finally got one of the rarest emotes in the game.

The most nostalgic thing in the game is the free chests and that every card started with level 1
The most fun about quests was that you were able to save up good chests without using a chest slot. this made chest openings more exciting. aside from that, quests were boring

Old clan wars, you could have always play draft battle or triple draft, now you have to play with your cards and your card levels
There was one feature that was meant to piss off your friends that remain only in friendly battles and thats cheering on the enemy but in normal battle
Tbh I wished they removed battle costs from clash of clans too. I need 1000 gold every time I look for another village, and that adds up. I think clash of clans is already slow enough for that stalling to be there

CoC battle cost can stop you from making a simple bot that would search for a specific village layout with preprogrammed troop deployment. Now they can have reasonable server capacity for finding villages for you to attack.

This comment has noting to do with this video but, would you do a video about the old hero’s because I feel like most people forgot how op old hero’s used to be. A level 40 BK back than was stronger than a current level 80 king now. He did 571 damage at level 40 while the king now has to reach level 75+ in order to reach that damage level. Basically the BK was royal champion status back than.

The purpouse for gold spending in Clash of clans is to stop people from cycling bases infinitely. If there was no features. a simple bot that detects a lower town hall level could be used to easily gain trophies or something like that.
