We only have so much money next year bc our qb is getting paid by the broncos + we have the highest paid defense in the league I hope Kahn could make this work

People get hung up on ‘the highest paid defense’. Yeah, because it’s full of talented veterans while our offensive talent has come mainly from recent draft classes and a lot of them are on rookie deals. That will shift over time in either a pendulum fashion or become more balanced between the two over time. Either way, it’s not a significant issue, imo.
Heyward wants too much and he’s already thinkin about leaving I would package him and his brother plus a draft pick to get our WR2 and sign a serviceable DT to replace Cam. We want volunteers not hostages!!
I think Calvin Austin could be a great WR2, but he has to get more than 30 targets a season to make a difference on the field. And most of that is because of spotty QB play
its gonna be our improvement on offense and TOP that our already great D will become elite. they will be fresh throughout, and considering all our additions and new added talent. i see top 3 and wouldnt be suprised with #1 in league defense
Can we really say the WR room has better personnel going into 2024 than it did last year? OLine roster is better. LB room is better. QBs are better. DLine is solid but not adequately deep. If cap space allows, I think Peterson should return but, as constructed, the secondary is already on par with last year. WRs still need a true replacement for DJ. Given Cam’s age, there needs to be improvement in DLine depth.
