- All out airsoft war has broken out inside the city. The 533RD has been tasked with 2 objectives:
1. Provide milsim citizens of Astana safe passage out of the conflict zone.
2. Move into the city and eliminate any and all hostile BB forces.

For everyone who is complaining about the guy getting patted on the head:
Milsim stands for Military Simulation. While this is an airsoft game it is a very accurate simulation of what it is like to be in the military. For those that have NOT served, life in the military is much much different from civilian life. Milsim West does the best job of recreating that lifestyle. All the cadre are military veterans with at least 1 combat deployment, myself included. Every person that signs up for these games has an understanding that things will be miserable, you will get yelled at and it will be just as boring and exciting as it is in the real military.

The guy clearly looked unresponsive and really seemed like his head wasn't in it. He wasn't even looking the area you were pointing at. That was nothing more than a love tap.
DesertFoxAirsoft Having some designated team leaders might have helped with the organization.
Personally I feel like Jet having to give orders so often added to the whole idea that they were supposed to be weekend warriors. The whole point is that it's a reserve unit that didn't see combat. I think they played the roles very well.
wwerocks619 before a reserve unit gets deployed they have a three month training period before there deployment. No reserve unit is this disorganized. I know a lot of good infantry reserve units that take pride in what they do and still manage other shit.

Civil affairs reservist are near the top of the reserve food chain and I’ve seen them operate better than most active component soldiers. Don’t knock the reserves if you have done your research 😊

this is actually pretty freakin intense, even with the minimal fighting going on. also love the background noises which make it sound like a real war zone. i have only been part of 'normal' airsoft games with role-play elements so far, but i should check out milsim at some point

Back in the late 80s we had a radio personality here in STL named Smash. Good to see his kid make it into the Cali National Guard. Seriously , I dug the scenario :the ACUs, the mismatched gear, the crazy assortment of allies, the rag tag locals . Really wished I could have played in this one.

I'd love to play airsoft but I simply can't. I live in Montana and we only have one official field and it's 5 hours away from me. I have a few nice airsoft guns and have played some casual stuff with friends but I wish I could play something as organised as a milsim. I enjoy the vids Jet!

I think everyone can sometimes have too big of an ego to take that kind of treatment towards them. Its milsim, its what you should expect in the experience so either the guy getting pissy about simple directions can deal with it and learn to understand that not everything is his way or just dont play at all lol

It honestly seems like a lot of you people like to find one small thing in Jet's videos and complain and/or criticize it. Just move on with life bro like no one is perfect and it won't even change your future. He is uploading these awesome videos for your entertainment but it seems like every time, Jet is forced to explain himself in the comments and it probably gets annoying. Just try to compliment him in the comments or say something funny for once.
So jet, when you do these milsim events, do you use battery powered rifles or gas powered and what do you recommend
G_Town99_1Mate You can use both and Im not jet but Id reccomend whatever you wish. Gas is more realistic but more expensive and don't have any risks in rain but AEGs can generally be cheaper and there are more high end optiond
Josiah Stoddard get both and bring both if it’s a wet environment or raining you can use the gas rifle while if it’s hot or really cold battery with at least 2 extra batteries

Hey jet, I have a question. Have you ever played at a milsim event and it start raining? If so, what do they do (do they stop the game or do they keep going) ?
Milsim is rain, snow, shine, hurricane, actual war. Basically they stop for nothing
Khendon555 it’s just people have aegs so if it started raining there gun could fry
if your aeg fries because of rain... you should not have it at a milsim event. I have (unintentionally) fully submerged my aeg scar a few times and that thing will still kick ass at my next milsim
Been in plenty milsims where it rained, no problem, battery is not exposed.
Hard frost can be a problem for batteries, but normally weather is not a problem.
The only one I went to so far it rained all the way through the first night and it was cold. People were getting hypothermia in the morning and the game still didn’t stop.
