Heh😅 same! Me: getting all exited for the golden ticket! Also me: realizes that i live in the Netherlands and that she probably doesn’t even know that country exist, and that i will be enjoying the rest of my days drinking coffee alone with my cat😂
Hi Ann...I am writing this using my dad's account.....I am 9 years old and am a great fan of yours. Whenever I have time and dad's tab with me, I watch your videos. I am from India and wanna be a Baker when I grow up. You are a great inspiration for me. Ishanya.
Hi Ann! I would just like to say thank you sooooo much for everything you teach me on these videos!!! I'm one of the youngest girls in a HUGE family, and baking is a BIG thing with my family and I LOOOOOOOOVE the fact that I can teach my 67 year old grandmother new things!
Depends what flavour you have, vanilla meringue drops are beautiful, they are super crunchy and full, yet have the fluffiest, almost hollow texture to them (:
Tarina Herbert It's hard to explain...they are almost like crunchy marshmallows.. they have quite a creamy, sugary taste. Small ones are firm, but larger ones have crisp shells and soft fluffy insides.
First time commenting but been following you for years now. I just made these last night with pineapple juice and frozen strawberries and they're delicious! The pineapple ones are my favorite. took them out of the oven after two hours and cooled them at room temp but it started to get sticky and chewy, i put them back in the oven for 10 min same temp and left them overnight, checked them again this morning and they're crunchy and not sticky anymore. Just wanted to put this out for anyone who wants to try this! Thank you for this recipe!
I use to make these as a child! But me and my mom use to make them into cute little flowers using flower shaped frosting tips. This video brought back some good memories.
I wanna make these but i dont have a mixer and i dunno how to use the oven I just whisk it by hand but i was impatient and i was going to use the microve but still impatient for waiting to cook.
I really like the Raspberry marangues! The burst of berry flavor is very nice. I made a blueberry version, out of frozen blueberries, and it was nice too!
+How To Cook That Can we adjust the amount of sugar? I made these and found that it was a bit extra sweet I made simple vanilla so Just wanted to know that will something happen if I'll reduce the sugar by 2 Tablespoons?? btw I LOVE your channel and VOICE
+How To Cook That Hi Ann, I never tasted Meringue Cookies so just wanted to now are these cookies soft (melting in mouth) and can we use liquid food colouring and fruit extracts instead of real fruit puree??
You probably could actually. I haven't tried this, but here's an idea; 1. Take any milk chocolate/ chocolate bar or choice 2. Finely blend chocolate (in bits and pieces) through a coffee grinder/grater/blender? :P 3) You can now add the chocolate to the meringue:) Keep in mind though, if you want fine chocolate powder, you may have to blend quite a few times.
hannah vaverka I don't think you would be able to get a 'fine' chocolate powder, because the heat from the friction off the blades would easily melt the tiny pieces of chocolate. As for the original question, you could use milk chocolate (freeze it before chopping it up since milk is a lot softer than dark), but you wouldn't get that great bold chocolate flavor that comes with dark and it's sweet enough already.
You can use milk chocolate, as long as you're ok with still using cocoa powder (the sugar in the meringue means it won't taste as bitter as dark chocolate anyway
Thank you for showing us how to make these tasty beauties. Your recipe on this is the easiest one! I've tried the lime meringues & they came out exactly as described & were delicious. I used similar concepts with fresh strawberry & mango purées & they were perfect too!
i'm just wondering, why do does it have to be frozen raspberries? why not fresh ones? i'm just curious, does it have something to do with the moisture content? love ur vids anne, u are fab. also, could we please see a harry potter cake?
Dragonsong Phangirl you certainly could use fresh ones, they are just more expensive that frozen here in Australia - so if they don't need to be fresh I use frozen.
Well, you can do it in different ways. You can chop them up and pour them through a sift to get the juice out, or make a puree like she did with the rasberries.
I made the lime ones and I'm super excited to eat them as they are in the oven and I hope they taste good, you're awesome ann and keep up the good work
Why not have a giveaway where everyone can win, no matter where they live? I live in Sweden and have only entered one giveaway in 1 year. I was so exited when you had giveaway there you could win a mixer, but then I watched the video and saw that only 12 countries could enter. It's great that you have so many giveaways but it would be funnier if everyone could enter.
I feel like it may have something to do with the type of plug that the mixer has. Plugs are not universal across the world, so the mixer wouldn't work in most countries. This might be why. Not 100% sure though.
I love your videos!!! YOU are so good at baking every thing! If I lived in Australia I would so sign up for the golden ticket. You are such an inspiration!! love you Ann Reardon
Hey Ann, I just wanted to say that I made a batch of these but instead I added about 1 tablespoon of ground up peppermint candies. Then after they were done I dipped the bottoms in semisweet chocolate! These are so delicious! Also so easy to make! Its my new favorite treat lol. I am gladly make them again, they are awesome. 😁😁🍫
Ann, you look absolutely lovely here! I've tried these treats for my sister's teachers and let me tell you, they were begging for more. I loved this recipe, the passion fruit was to die for. Thank you for this video, and have a lovely day 😀
Tried these with some coffee, put too much water with it as they turned out a bit runny when piping. Still tasted great though! Love the lime flavour and the berries (I used blackberries). Was super fun to experiment with (and eat!) so thanks for all the inspiration Ann!
ive made these everyone liked them (i made lime and chocolate) and what i did for chocolate is melted 1/4 of a cup of chocolate chips and mixed it in and baked
i went to the web to write down the ingredients and what i need to do. I think this will make a good summer treat, obviously the fruit ones. Great idea ann, hope you'll have more ideas to surprise ur fans... like me!!
I made the regular meringues and the tasted amazingly :) thank you for the simple recipe! I cheated and used granulated sugar instead of castor but they still turned out alright :)
I love how you actually used natural flavours!

I was wondering, does it have to be dark chocolate? Love your vids btw! Thanks♡
Taylor B no you can use whatever chocolate you like, dark chocolate balances out the sugar's sweetness though
Ok thanks :)
Hi Ann!
I would just like to say thank you sooooo much for everything you teach me on these videos!!! I'm one of the youngest girls in a HUGE family, and baking is a BIG thing with my family and I LOOOOOOOOVE the fact that I can teach my 67 year old grandmother new things!
I'm obsessed with meringues, I've only ever experimented with flavoured extracts... which isn't that nice. Cannot wait to try these!
I have never had a meringues, what do they taste like??
Depends what flavour you have, vanilla meringue drops are beautiful, they are super crunchy and full, yet have the fluffiest, almost hollow texture to them (:
Richelle Pattison I didn't mean vanilla, I've used that with them heaps, I meant fruit ones and such, they taste artificial.
Tarina Herbert It's hard to explain...they are almost like crunchy marshmallows.. they have quite a creamy, sugary taste. Small ones are firm, but larger ones have crisp shells and soft fluffy insides.
Phoenix Down and Richelle Pattison thanks for telling me what they taste like.

Genetics
Flavored syrups are great for these. I used a french vanilla one and they were divine!
Could you use milk chocolate? I don't like dark chocolate.
No. There is enough sugar in the meringue to sweeten the chocolate
You probably could actually. I haven't tried this, but here's an idea;
1. Take any milk chocolate/ chocolate bar or choice
2. Finely blend chocolate (in bits and pieces) through a coffee grinder/grater/blender? :P
3) You can now add the chocolate to the meringue:)
Keep in mind though, if you want fine chocolate powder, you may have to blend quite a few times.
Charlene he/she can how as much sugar as they want. Who are u to tell them that there is enough sugar
hannah vaverka I don't think you would be able to get a 'fine' chocolate powder, because the heat from the friction off the blades would easily melt the tiny pieces of chocolate. I've honestly watch and like your videos again and again.
I kinda wanna make one batch a mint... 🤔🍃
WinterrLegend use intense peppermint extract in a normal meringue recipe

Dont know but how would you make a peach version of the meringue.
Juice a peach and concentrate it?
Puree the peach, maybe :)
Well, you can do it in different ways. You can chop them up and pour them through a sift to get the juice out, or make a puree like she did with the rasberries.
Kora Luna-May Make a puree by blending the peach flesh and then sieve it?
I made the lime ones and I'm super excited to eat them as they are in the oven and I hope they taste good, you're awesome ann and keep up the good work
Alright I finished them and I absolutely love them once again keep up the good work

Yes!
Isabel J If the giveaways are from herself, yes it's usually worldwide. But if she was sponsored, chances are it's limited to certain places.
I feel like it may have something to do with the type of plug that the mixer has. Plugs are not universal across the world, so the mixer wouldn't work in most countries. This might be why. Not 100% sure though.
+Adreanna Rios you can get universal plugs for pretty cheap so i dont think thats the case :)
