best product in the market over the years got installed 5 of my bikes, now getting a new bike and getting that installed. I wouldnt use a bike in london without a tracker on. Biketrac specially save my bikes 4 times. Normally recovered 2 hours after the bike been stolen, simply call the police get a crime ref number and call the bike trac back and they sort it out for you, and all this for £99 a year its no brainer. Insurance companies doesnt really like them as you get your bike back you dont claim and they cant make money.
A really good product and the BikeTrac team are friendly if you do accidentally trigger the Tracker, whilst I agree it’s not a cheap product it is a reliable one.

Utterly useless if your bike is stolen in central London.. The Met Police have ZERO interest in bike thefts. I found this to my cost when I had my £20,000 BMW stolen. Securitas weren’t even contacted or available in my case? Bike track locks the ability to track your own bike in the event of a theft? It took Biketrac 40 minutes to give me the bikes location..Too long and the bike was only 5 minutes walk away, where the thieves had loads of time to remove the tracker!! Utterly useless. This needs more work and biketrac need to address their policies as regards allowing the customer to continue to track their bikes when a theft occurs. Not good enough, be warned.
@@Sibula. NEVER recovered. As I said, utterly useless especially in London. To add insult to injury, BikeTrac recovered the tracker taken off the bike and offered it back to me? Unbelievable. Stratospheric insurance for the next 5 years due to their device management.
Two things to take away. Expect no help from the useless Plods. Secondly, scum thieves also watch UA-cam, and are well familiar with trackers. If they cannot find it with a quick look over the bike, under the seat, main harness, etc , they simply leave it somewhere they can monitor it for a few days clandestinely in case it does have a well hidden tracker. If no one turns up, they can safely break it in a scum chop shop or move it on abroad. To the best of my knowledge, biketrac doesn't always track it down themselves, whereas AutomatricsMtrack do.
Well, invest in a motion detector then. Also get some large attack dogs or visit your local gun shop. If the motion detector goes off and it's not the wind or a squirrel....

Just had one installed, my insurance hasn't changed a single penny with it, which I was very surprised at.
The cost of the device + installation + yearly subscription is ridiculous. Same issue with Datatool's products.
Yea, Most insurance companies don't discount them any more.
It's well worth it. Have had one for 4 years and the service is great and the peace of mind too.

Yes but you'll need to pay to have it removed and then reinstalled, about £150 for installation not sure about removal.
