They were the tonic we all needed and were there for us at the 100% right time❤ I had a little cry when I was at The O2 watching this tour..the energy in that massive room the Saturday evening when Faye came back (but Lee was ill) after her Covid was something else .. it literally took the roof of the venue off🎉. I was there the Fri eve aswell when Lee was there but not Faye.
back in the 90s there were steps, take that, west life, s club and many other groups and steps is the only group still going with its original lineup which shows their longevity
Faye is my favourite. She's had a very successful career in theatre. I've seen her in lots of musicals and plays over the years and she's always been great. Indeed I've already bought my ticket to see her in the musical "42nd Street" later this year! It's a great musical anyway, so many classic songs in it. Can't wait to see Faye again. :)
@Pant-Hooting Chimp yes, but she should have released a Dance-Pop album solo like Lisa Scott did. More people love Faye than Lisa. Faye has it all: the looks AND the voice 🥰

I wish they had kept it in, or at least did a 2nd video with the album version too. I think they're afraid of the backlash for spiritual/religious lyrics. I don't think it hurts their message in any way as they're totally inclusive and supportive. Anyway, it might've had to have been cut for time. The video and both versions of the song are still pure sonic gold!
How did they get the shots with all five of them? Because I thought Lee and Faye were both isolating on the other ones filming nights so they were never actually all there for the filmed shows?
It's great but still think they should have filmed the show early on as whilst the fact both poor Faye and Lee ended up with covid wasn't envisioned it must have cropped up as a possibility and therefore would have made a hell of a lot more sense to film Manchester or Birmingham as a earlier show. Regardless O2 were very late in the tour and seemed a risk to leave it until then. Admittedly some good camera trickery but I really feel it should have been filmed early on, even done one as a fall back in the hope that they'd be a five for O2 performance.
