I still suggest trying Ark Omega next. It's a Survival Evolved mod that makes all tames into knock-out, so no more of... whatever those taming methods are. But the best part is that it allows ANY creature to be a boss killer. You can get a paragon soul from a creature, say, Baryonyx. If you feed it to a tamed Bary then, it'll double its stats. So the more common a creature is, the easier it is to increase its paragon levels, which go up all the way to 100. And they all have random special abilities, unique saddles with special effects, rare unique variants with double the special abilities and higher stats than normal.
For example, an Omega Brutal Dodo would have x50 stat multiplier from being Omega, x6 from being Brutal, and will inflict bleeding. If you feed it a paragon soul, it'll have x50 x6 and x2. Two paragon souls, and it's x50 x6 and x3. If you then kill a god and feed it a specific soul, it'll change from x50 to x100, becoming godlike. You can then equip it with War Chicken saddle, which increases its attack speed and movement speed by 300%, as well as some other effects. Then you can wind a Dodo Attunement Pendant, which increase your mount's stats, including effects like 50% dodge chance. And then you can find a legendary War Chicken saddle, which is even stronger.
So it's a fun mod if you have a favorite common tame. Wanna clear the whole game with a single Baryonyx? Or maybe Maewing? Or maybe make a Lystro of doom that can oneshot all bosses. Not to mention, most creatures have a hybrid variant with another creature, which has its own unique. They come with a downside of needing paragon souls of both creatures to upgrade them, but... well, it unlocks interesting creatures, from abominations like a mix of galli and lamprey, to a flying monkey, a mix of mesopithecus and lymantra.
All in all, it could be a fun challenge to defeat all bosses by sticking to your favorite tames instead of going with the usual Rex horde, no matter how normally weak those tames are. Bring out that Pachy or make an ultimate Horse of Doom.

Maybe, might have some hunt type video ideas that anit 100 days as well
Oh yeah, now that I think even further about pygmies... what can they even do? Does it give a mate boost if you're riding a giga and have a pigmy giga? Does it give a pack boost if you have a pigmy wolf or a pigmy allo? If they add pigmy wyverns, do you get a portable flamethrower? Maybe a golem, chalico or velo as a shoulder turret.
If the pygmy is an alpha it gives a mate boost and can add to pack amounts. And a bet pygmy golems are going to be good
Y'all have me almost wanting to buy Ascended specifically to play this mod. Maybe if Wildcard surprises us all and manages to un**** the game somewhat.
