Fabiano is by far the best interpretor that I've ever seen. You usually just get people who 'translate' and that's all, but he really puts across the humanity of each language, which is how it should be. I hope that the UFC is paying him a lot because he deserves it.
He definitely is! And the way he tries so hard not to lose anything of what was said is crazy. He really makes a good job of remembering every bit of it.

I dunno how people say he is a good translator lol when he puts words out that the fighters dont say at all and leave out stuff thats relevant. The weight cutting, he mentioned he wanted to rest his body 2 or 3 fights and then he can fight at middleweight again, translator never says he plans on doing middleweight again, important. The funeral joke, he said, well this is not really a funeral, but this is serious business here so why should i be laughing, also lost in translation. The Glover comment, what glover actually said is, he came back from this tittle fight and said, like im training here with you, and you keep scrambling getting up i cant keep you down, but in my title fight i just went in there put him down and it was easy. So thats why he thinks hes evolving. So yeah... im not on board with the "best interpretator" thing. Hes not bad by any means... but they leave out so much context.

I also heard the funeral joke in English and it made me laugh.

Fabiano is the best Portuguese interpreter ever in UFC. He translates every single word that was said, giving the right emotion and intensity. Not more, not less, he is by far the best.

I know it was a dark period of his life, but he could eat fast foods, drink 1L of cachaça per day and be national kickboxing champ, he just needs to eat normal healthy food without thinking too much to maintain muscle, he can cut a lot of weight and still keep his power, the dude is just different
