Walang nakikitang malaking epekto sa ekonomiya ng Pilipinas ang pansamantalang pagpapatigil ng Estados Unidos ng pagbibigay ng foreign financial aid.
Ayon sa National Economic and Development Authority o NEDA, ang pangunahing maaapektuhan ng foreign aid freeze ng US ay ang mga multilateral institution.
