I am from Hyderabad. I was excited for vande bharat inauguration on **19th August**. I don't know when they pre poned it.
PM Modi will be in Mumbai on 19th August to inaugrate 2 new metro lines and another one in Navi Mumbai.. probably it would have been too hectic to manage such a jam packed schedule...
Another reason could be that since Makar Sankranti was celebrated on Sunday, he chose this auspicious occasion to inaugrate VB on this route.

You have to apply for special pass from Source Station
If you register as a media person, then also you get a pass for inaugural run.

Kazipet Junction is the junction from where trains towards Secunderabad / Hyderabad and beyond towards Mumbai, depart the main line of New Delhi - Chennai.

A couple of days ago I went to give some food stuff to some of my family members traveling on Vande Bharat. Must say I was very much impressed by the just what I saw. The "safe" opening and closing of the doors. Extension of a step for alighting / disembarking passenger, I am a regular Shatabdi traveller. Must say there is a whole lot of improvement from the passenger point of view. BTW when I was checking for the schedule the wait list for next 6 days was greater than about 80 and for the executive class was even greater.

Dear sir my suggestions :
1. On priority , first separate goods train track from passenger train tracks.
2. High speed trains not required now
3 , ROBs shall be built in entire rail lines throught India
4. Rails shall be modernised keeping in view of quality with highest standards.
5. Sleepers also made to with stand speed.
6. V points , I.e. train crossing from one track to other with high speeds shall be modernised.
7. cattle / animals shall be avoided to pass on tracks
8. straight rail tracks laid avoiding curves.
9. All the towns shall be connected to goods trains on separate tracks minimising truck transportation.
10. Goods shall be transported only Fromm towns to villages by trucks avoiding longer truck transportation
11. After completion of all the think on high speed trains keeping in view of passengers safety.
LIFE IS FIRST SPEED IS NEXT.

This Vande Bharat covers the distance between the two cities at an average speed of 82 kmph, which is second only to Delhi Varanasi Vande Bharat Express. So, I cannot quite understand your problem with the speed restrictions down south.
Not to mention the fact that there is an element of it that I agree with you - trains in south in general are slower compared to the ones that run in North - More Specifically, Mumbai - Delhi route and Delhi - Howrah route. That's because Indian Railways has always been partial towards South in terms of newer tech and even maintenance of existing infrastructure - North Indian states get a better deal, thanks to the electoral structure of the nation.
