Great quick review of the NEC. Wanting seats for your new build Sprinter check out Scheel-Mann seats? I have just added a driver and passenger seat to my 2016 Sprinter and they look absolutely brilliant and so comfortable. They are pricey but well worth the money. Normal delivery is about 6 weeks from Germany. I ordered mine through APE Vans, Andy was so helpful. Andy also has single bases available if you are converting from a double seat to a single.
We missed out on tickets to the motorhome show last week, so it was great to get a view of it here. I love all the stalls with stuff for the vans. Thanks for sharing x
We couldn’t make the show this time so was lovely that your video could take us with you. We have the multicoloured strip lights in ours as the white can be too bright at nighttime so we change the colour for ambiance. Really enjoyed all the stalls you took us too 😊 xx
Some nice accessories in the show, those alloys you pointed out and the BF Goodrich tyres would make your van 🚐 look superb!, all the best for your build, looking forward to seeing your progress! Best wishes Bruce & Linda Edinburgh X.
Lot of stuff there at the NEC for a van build….who would of known. We thought it was all caravans and motorhomes so really great to see this side of it as well 😍xx
A really good walkabouts. Thank you so much for sharing the information with us. Every bit is important, especially WHEN to call at the bacon stand. So much to think about, so much to remember! Take care. See you again soon. All best wishes, Pam xx
Hi guys we went to the Nec today looking for a motorhome but struggling to justify some of the price tags, and delivery dates edging into June next year 😫 so keenly watching your van build as you have a good value for money mindset and thats essential nowadays keep up the good work, very best wishes 👍👍
Ahh yes they have whacked them prices right up! Mind you the demand is also high so if their waiting lists are huge suppose they can do it… frustrating for those looking though. Hopefully you will find one you like reasonable price if not why not build? Thank you for watching XxRR
@@TheRollingRucks Yes guys they certainly have pushed the prices up, so we are certainly looking at van build and will be glued to your channel for ideas and inspiration 👌👌
Word of warning the wheels & tyres you like I have them on my vw crafter people say there noisy I don't think they are I just turn the radio up a little bit.
Kids in a sweet shop lol i would stick to your induction hob as the diesel heater stove is not a food idea. As you will have to have the diesel heater on every time you cook and it will over heat the van. Stick to induction hob and a separate diesel heater. Just my opinion. Great vibe so much to chose from. The merc at £153k was nice michael UK
I love your wonderful family. I've followed you in motorhome travels. Now I am very keen to watch you build out your new van. I am intrigued at how you are going to fit all those beds in it. Keep I up, I'm loving it. X
Really enjoyed watching you getting inspired, diesel hob is very clever, but those nets were expensive, I’ve put loads in our motorhome 3 for a tenner on Amazon and there ok sturdy but cheap…
What a pleasure to meet you lovely lot. Will watch with interest. Funnily enough the guy made me put on one of those £160 robes. I was boiled! The camo ones look, how do you say, lush!! All the best, Martin
What a good way to get ideas for your van build. I’m sure your visit to the NEC will have helped, as you continue with the project. It’s great that you are doing your homework and getting a good idea of the items you want to buy, to kit out your van. I’ve no doubt that the end result will be a stunning camper van. I wish you the best of luck and will continue following you, with interest.
Thank you for such lovely feedback we really appreciate it, we want to make sure we are doing the best we can with the products available in the market. Hope you enjoy XxRR
It was really nice bumping into you at nec . You recommended a motorhome make but I forgotten what it was. I know you must bump into a lot of people all the time. I have the same motorhome as you. I was the one who had a picture taken with you. Take care Pietro
It was so lovely meeting you, your partner and beautiful Sophia 🌹.. we mentioned burstner but be warned we will be very jealous of you so you can’t show us haha XxRR
Really enjoyed that guys , loved the purpose behind the visit . We’re following your van build wIth interest as you know , so this really complimented that. Loved it thanks H and M
Great video loved the diesel hob/heater fab idea kills two birds with one stone. However i would be a bit cautious having diesel as the only source of heat/cooking just because of the times we find ourselves living in -think you should have a plan b for back up for something so essential especially through winter months. Those wheels are badass wheels can't wait to see them fitted if you go for them!
Thank you for the advice and yeah totally agree we have one of those induction electric hob rings but can only cook one pan at a time would work as an extra though. We will probably go all induction tbh because then wheels are totally badass haha 😂 agreed!! XxRR
Brilliant video, brilliant show going again tomorrow to see small stalls, glad we just got our new tag cos the prices have shot up, good luck with the build can't wait to follow that, love to you all xx
Hi guys, we had a wallas duo cooktop in our iveco daily home built van and found it to be patchy in it heating of such a large van. They are great in smaller vans but we found on REALLY cold nights it would only heat the top half of the van, the floor would be really cold. If I could do it over again I would put under floor heating in with fan assisted heat exchangers. Spend your money on a lithium battery bank and an induction stove. Our van was fully off grid that we lived in for 2 years. I’m also in South Wales so if you need a hand or advice let me know 👍🏻 good luck guys
Dry robes are great I love mine brilliant for the shower trips and taking the dog out in the rain too 👍 mine was from mountain warehouse in the sale and I got discount with my cmhc card, bargain!
Word of warning for you. You mentioned the oven by the door, I would recommend you keep the gas hobs as far away as possible, because the wind will keep blowing out the hobs. This is a big fault on some of the autosleeper 👍👍
Kids in a sweet shop comes to mind. 😄Look on Jerba campervans UA-cam - they use the Wallas diesel in some of their vans - I think they are quite impressive..
If you can try to do one you should do they can be fun although depends what your looking for.. the Warner shows are good albeit on a smaller scale XxRR
Shiver down my spine like I was back there
Cmon now it wasn’t that bad…. 😂🤣😂

Plenty of inspiration. Think you will need to name your van ‘The Tardis’. So looking forward to following your project. Take care and stay safe xx
Hahaha great idea! We are thinking of asking viewers for a name it can go in the pot haha XxRR
these shows are gr8 to get the info, then its off home and find the same thing cheaper. gr8 vlog butt
