It''s absolutely beautiful! I completely agree with you, the circle sounds so interesting, I'd love to see more of what motivated the members, how they felt, their relationships. Just all of it. I'm in awe of how much emotion you managed to convey in such a short amount of time.
Thank you! I think there's a tragedy to them that Jace and his generation kind of lacked. They were kind of just dealing with the aftermath of their parents' actions and probably weren't as committed in such a cause because they did end up growing up away from Idris. I think at the heart of them, they were young and ignorant and thought they were going to make the world a better place. I think Simon was meant to be a Luke 2.0 but Luke's tragedy was rooted in his parabatai's betrayal and becoming one of the beings he swore to eradicate. And Maryse and Robert were said to be almost as bad as Valentine in their prejudice against downworlders so their children dating a warlock and a vampire must've felt like some kind of blow. And Jocelyn finding out she was in love with Shadowhunter Voldemort? I mean, it might be worse than thinking he was her brother (good God, Cassandra Clare, what was up with that storyline???).

Wow Seph! This is absolutely amazing! So flawless, the cast is absolutely incredible, very spot on I especially love Dan Stevens and Crystal Reed in those parts! In the show they did a whole episode on the Circle... It was in my opinion, dreadful. This, this was so much more thorough, on point, and emotional. Just two minutes was more emotional then that whole episode. I adore this! ♥
Thank you! I remember that episode. It was cringe. I think they made it look like Jocelyn and Luke were having an affair behind Valentine's back and we didn't get to see the Light woods at all. People are liking Dan as Valentine. I'm happy people like my cast. The Circle was rather tragic. I kind of wanted to look at them like the Marauders, a bunch of kids running towards death.
