i always liked Librarian videos. he has interesting some philosophies about liminal spaces and tense atmosphere as well as some daily working. too bad that he got some fragile nerves , he get upset on some little things. otherwise can somebody tell me what's the song at 11:40? it has a strongly cool 90s feel to it
41:14 I was drinking water when this happened, not realizing it was going to be THIS jumpscare from the three scare reels, so The Librarian's scream jumpscared me and I almost choked on my drink haha.
My god, this game is terrifying. Bravo to Chilla's art, I was actually sent back to all those times when creepy guys followed me. I'm so lucky it never went any further. And your commentary was gold as always, Librarian. Fantastic playthrough.
I don't get startled much in games but I must admit, they totally got me. Perfect blind spot, completely unexpected even though you're already tense from the previous events

44:58 "Everyone in this universe is incredibly rude." Oh you'd be surprised that people in Japan act like this often if they're not incentivized to be nice.
Why is it abnormal for people to be nice? It seems people visiting the states are always shocked at how nice people are. It’s common curtesy, like waving to your neighbors!
I love your playthroughs of Chilla's Art games, thank you so much for the variation in your channel, your Convenience Store playthrough was the first video I saw of your channel and it stuck to me. Loving the videos dude, hope you get the growth your channel deserves!
24:35 its funny you say "a bird in a cage." i used to have a friend that said "a fish in a bowl" about people outside in the dark being able to see inside your lit house with the blinds/curtains open
Old video but I just wanted to thank you for the editing on these games. You leave enough for the cozy/settled in feelings to build without letting it get monotonous with every step for every order.
I love video games and how you can in universe work for a bussiness for like serveral months if not years and somehow the moment the player takes control your character forgets everything about their jobs down to the basics.
I don't understand why I love these late-night Japanese work-simulator games. The actual jobs would be pretty hellish (like all low level retail/service; I worked enough of them back in high school to know). So it must be the atmosphere; which Chilla's been honing and perfecting. Also, have to laugh at Chilla's patented extreme passive-aggressive characters!
Imagine being an average customer in a horror game like this, and one day you just happened to wear like a hoodie or something and you see the store clerk or whatever watching you suspiciously and pausing for a couple seconds to look at you
This was the best game you've ever played so far, ironically, since it's one of those indie horrors.. but the game's concept was so well made that it compensates and carries the entire playthrough. And combined with your godlike commentary, it makes for a really good video in the end props
You are the best UA-camr on the platform hands down, literally no one compares every time I see you upload its like Halloween and Christmas on the same day
I love your commentary on these horror experiences. Though, I will say, I kinda miss the stories you'd tell, you have a really good storytelling voice!
I love that ChillasArt games have you do chores within the game, it really makes you immersed in and focus on the setting. Also sort of lulls you into a false sense of security to prime you for scares ((:
Man that was their best game yet. Kept surreal/fantasy to a minimum necessary, but creepy just at the right time and amount. I don't know the creators but that's definitely one way to put into perspective what a lot of women experience on a daily basis. You know, and this game manages to make you feel that, feel that fear (if you are a man). Impressive stuff and great video.
@@spicyladyhunter The stalker is "in love" with her. It would be odd for him to just kill her. Also, if you watch and listen to the "death" scene closely, she's not being stabbed. :(
Damn dude you're such an underrated youtuber, with your style of vids and content you make you definitely have a more niche audience, but I think even within that niche you're still not as recognised as you should be, keep up the good work man :)
It's terrifying, it's Westworld in a modern coffee store setting. We just need a load of Yul Brynners to walk in, look around the room, then just stand there and stare at you without ordering anything.
As far as I know, this is one of the few games they've done that only has one ending. I know some of their older games were like that, but this one was done much better. I loved the paranoia aspect as the game progressed, and how it affects both the game and the character. One of their more realistic games, too, so that's a plus.
I’m thinking that this has 2 different endings. 1. Kill him by throwing the Brick from the roof. Then you get back to your apartment just to have to go back outside to get your phone from the ground. I thought that he would be hiding in the closet or above where the ladder is. 2. Use the Screwdriver on the Vent that is in the Bathroom/Restroom to escape. Grab your car key. Get in your car. Drive away and he is hiding in the back of the car. Waiting to kill you. Chilla’s best game so far is this one.
31:36 not sure if someone else already commented, but "nihongo jouzu" (you read it super weird too lol, its more like nee-hoon-gou joe-su) basically means "your japanese is good!" and is often said in response to really mediocre japanese spoken by a learner in an attempt to make them feel better about their skill, it's kind of gotten the connotations of being backhanded because it's gained a reputation as a participation award of sorts. but obviously your mileage may vary, some people do mean it sincerely that someone's japanese is good ...oooobviously in an english game this doesn't translate super well because most english learners honestly speak better than english native speakers but hey, in case anyone's curious, that's what was up with that
pay attention at 57:40!! you can see the stalker standing and staring at you in the end of the bus. He was sitting right behind you, that's why you could not turn and see behind you!
I work at a starbucks that runs until 930pm so I mainly work the closing shift not really getting home until 10pm and I see what you mean about the horror in the mundane. Like what if one of my shifts is the off day someone comes in causes trouble
coming back to this video i wonder what will happen if you walk by the phone at the very beginning of the game and ignore the dude standing infront of the car because it isnt a thing you HAVE to do,maybe the game will have a happy ending

6:30 I can't say for certain, but it seems that they are new lunar year decorations, but they seem really old. That or it might be just there to make the atmosphere
lunar new year decorations in November seems weird, especially considering that this isn't some random western studio but an actual Japanese one. I think more likely that it's just a general decoration tbh
The Librarian's voice is so familiar for some reason, I have only watched a couple of his videos too. It sounds like someone I knew, but I cannot put my finger on it.
