funnily enough some of these women are actually more muscular,and have more definition than bev had ! bev was amazing and way ahead of her time.for much of her career she looked like todays figure competitors.in 1991 she morphed into something resembling todays womens physique competitors.

This is what women's "bodybuilding" should be.. not that monstrosity of divisions where they look more like men then women.

They should go back to the 80'/90' era of female bodybuilding. Normal bikinis, no earings, no fake tan, no implants. They had more personality and looked more natural and simple back then.

Horrible - The faces look all wrong/twisted and zombyish. Does drugs really do that? In any rate, this does not look healthy or natural/beautiful. Too much...
The only bugbear I have is that the hair should always be up! Oh OK, obtrusive tattoos and breast implants that cover the oblique's and pec's excessively should be strictly marked down.

i could not agree more !, if i were a contest judge/official i would ban/disqualify any bodybuilder turning up with tattoos, female bodybuilding is not about showing off ink/tattoos that hide and cover muscle and muscle definition !.

Some of these broads are bigger than Rhoden. Better conditioned too.
Notice how Fitness and Health do no appear in description of this contest. There's nothing healthy about what these women are doing to their bodies. All entrants should be awarded 20 hours of psychological therapy to begin dealing with their body image.
Shanique Grant looks good, the rest...i dont know, i think they are pushing the drugs too hard for this category. Hopefull Shanique Grant doesnt make the mistake of trying to get bigger or more shredded, she looks as good as it gets here.
To be critical of this is too easy. I get why these woman do it. For the same reason as men. In pursuit of something meaningful, something greater, a means to transcend the ordinary. You know where that truly lies for woman and where it is not fleeting but eternal? In being a good mother to her children. A good wife to a worthy husband. That is lasting. This here is ultimately meaningless.
Julianne Malacarne has much larger arms and calves than Shanique Grant. Shoulda Woulda Coulda.
