It’s almost like any complex thought is discouraged on this platform.

The “ur mad” or “who hurt you” comments were probably people who were offended (got mad) at what you stated ironically. If you type 4 lines for a comment people will be like “I’m not reading your novel”

I've noticed this way before UA-cam, a lot of my friends and classmates growing up behaved exactly like that, all of them boys. They viewed it as uncool/lame to care about or be affected by things, and they'd never be sincere and always talk using humor. Here on UA-cam I mainly see this attitude on male dominated videos/channels as well. I think it's just a new development in the gender role, probably brought about by popular male characters from movies and TV. I doubt it's anything but temporary.

I don’t think that’s it, because an argument at least continues. I see people obsessed with arguing on this platform, but they at least try to make a point with something they’re saying. Whit these people it almost seems like they discourage any complex thought.
