I haven't heard a lot of ZZ Top, but I did like the Eliminator album. Also heard a few singles from before and after that album that I liked. It's not really the type of music that you normally talk about liking, but that album really isn't that far off from some of the earlier hair metal stuff. They definitely aren't metal, but some of it I would call bluesy hard rock.
I´ll let you know a little secret as well: I´m eating some pasta while watching this, hahaha... "Deguello" is my fave ZZ Top album but I guess you can pass them by as far as I know you. I should do videos in advance as well, I have 500 - 600 magazines lying around, hahaha...
"Why are ZZ Top on the cover of Kerrang?" That's a seriously in depth question, Mike. These mag flips through are a great flashback to earlier times in rock and metal. 🤘
Jürgens is a better magazine if you look at his video. Plus he's playing an album from the time and it's sat on a t shirt from the time AND he's got more info on everything. I hope he doesn't do any more 😂😂😂
Another solid flick through! ZZ Top are good fun, but I don't know them well myself. They certainly aren't Metal. I'd probably describe them as Bluesy Boogie Hard Rock, or something. Probably not your cup of tea! 😂 Cheers! 🤘
Hi Mike!!! Yeah, it0s kind of strange seeing ZZ Top in Kerrang in 1990, it's a couple of years after Eliminator their 80's album, however i don't think you will enjoy them..... Btw what are you gonna do with the Sabbath family tree poster?? cheers and be well
Dam, I was at that Kings X gig!
rancho texicano is a great way to hear what zz top were all about - best of and spans their whole career
Donate how?
@@mikidewberry802 Donate old magazines maybe? I can't remember what I've said on this video.

Yeah get some of them shown. I'm definitely staying clear of ZZ Top. I don't even want to like them with that name 😂

I don't know probably nothing. I don't tend to use the posters. What did you have in mind?
@@sixzerothreeonesevensixnineI thought it would be awesome to see it framed in your music room.
@@cristianosorio2517 Yeah the thing is I'm not particularly bothered about Black Sabbath lol
@@sixzerothreeonesevensixnine Haha... fair enough mate!!
