This wasn't obvious to me, but I had an issue similar to the one shown here, but on a 927LE that does not have a little cable to hook into on the bottom. Unscrew the barrel from the cable, attach the top piece as shown here, hook the bottom piece into the relevant bit of steel and then reconnect the cable.

ya, my Drive cable just snapped at the lower end of Spring, wheres the How too, can,t find one anywhere for Drive cable
