I have a serious nail polish addiction. I'm a couponer so I get a lot of nail polish for free. My personal collection I decluttered it down from 140 bottles to about 75-80. I also had a whole lot of brand new polish as well as make up so I donated all the new stuff to one of my local women's shelter. Oh and the secret to getting off glitter polish is aluminum foil. Soak a cotton round in nail polish remover. Wrap it around the nail and seal it on with a small piece of aluminum foil. Do this to each finger and just let them sit for about 5 minutes. Then when times up the polish should slide right off. I learned this last year here on YT and it works wonderful! Great video! TFS
I loved hearing your thought process through the whole video. I think it's kind of inspiring to see how other people deal with this kind of thing especially because I tend to somewhat hoard my possessions! You should also consider donating the things you don't want to a woman's shelter. It's amazing how something as seemingly simple as a nail polish or a lipstick can really make someone's day!
Ulta brand makes packets of nail polish remover that look like those handi-wipes you get in BBQ places. I got one as a sample and ONE of them took off all 10 fingers of polish, perfect for travel, even smaller than that disk that you have, I don't think they are that expensive and because they are individually sealed they will never leak or dry out. I recently bought one of those racks that you can store nail polish in that holds over one hundred bottles from Amazon and realized that my collection had outgrown even that rack. This video will be my inspiration to get it all sorted, I just didn't even know how to get started until I watched how you did it. Thank You!
I love the BUTTER London remover wipes. They're individually packed and perfect for travel. Cutex has them, too, but I find that I need lots of theirs to remove the same amount that 1 Butter pad does.
I got those same nail strips at Dollar Tree and loved them! They have amazing staying power (lasted about a week and a half on my nails without chipping, just slight tip wear). Application was pretty standard for nail strips, and I found they applied more easily than the Sally Hansen ones (which, unlike the Essie ones, stuck horribly to the paper backing to the point where 1/3 of them broke!).
Cutex actually makes polish remover pads that come individually wrapped which I think are perfect because they're great for travel but I can also throw one in my purse and have it on hand if I ever need it. They have a few different formulas but all that I've tried have worked pretty well.
The dollar store has some contact paper with some cute patterns. You could use that to cover the bottom of your drawer. If you can't find a pattern that you like, thrift stores tend to have a few selections as well.
Jessica, to avoid spillage, take the top of the polish and cover it with a small piece of plastic wrap. Replace the lid and your ready to place it side down. I learned this idea while watching a travel show. It seems so simple, but I never would have thought of it, So, I travel with a small bottle of polish remover with NO problems.
I love watching you do your decluttering videos. . You've inspired me to do the same. ..so tomorrow I'll be going threw my collection of nail polish...i have tons so wish me luck. ..tfs hun
I got some remover wipes from the dollar store. I don’t remember the brand but they had red apples on the label and smelled like apples. They were amazing and you only had to wash your hands afterwards, otherwise it felt like you had slightly sticky juice on your hands.
Walgreens has a squirt bottle nail polish remover thing. Studio 35 was the brand I believe. The remover is actually good and I refill if with the Sally's remover. And girl, I have like 200 polishes and feel like I need more. You have awesome self control!
Target has empty pump containers that you can put your own fingernail polish remover in( or whatever). They are about 3 inches high. Haven't tried but several times wish I would have picked one up.
I don't want to sound preachy, but everyone should make sure they don't throw away nail polish in the regular trash. It is considered a hazardous material and should be disposed of in the same manner as paint. It's dangerous in the landfill. Every city has different regulations regarding the disposal of hazardous waste, so make sure you look it up.
You should be very proud of yourself! I have such a hard time keeping my polish collection in check! I have a rack that holds 130 but I also have a small basket that I keep the ones that won't fit. I do have 4 daughters that love having their nails painted so I like to think that it's a shared collection lol ;)
Hi, I enjoyed your video very much. You were very detailed on your thought process on how you made your decisions. Like how you chose to pass it on, instead of throwing away the items. You not only went through your polishes, everything to do with a manicure. I'm going to de clutter my collection now. Have a great day!
You've gotten a lot of suggestions for travel nail polish remover, but here's one more. Next time you're at Dollar Tree pick up the LA Colors nail polish remember pads. They're in a small white round container, and my local DT only has the strawberry scent. I keep them in a makeup bag at the office. I've had them there for about 3 months, and they still work fine. I wouldn't recommend them for glitter, but they get off creams and shimmers with no problem, usually one pad per hand.
ULTA brand nail polish remover pads are amazing!!!! They come in individual packets like wet wipes do....and one will take off all ten fingers!! Already affordable at ulta but then use coupons, really great deal.
Love your videos, Jess!! I'm passing on the pronunciation of L'Occitane after hearing you say a few times that you struggle with it. It's lox-ee-tan in French, or close enough anyway. 💜
I got the Essie decals from the dollar tree too! They didn't stay very long, but that's probably because I do martial arts and a lot of boxing so no polishes stay very long.
I have to say thank you for saying that you got the Studio M at Meijer because I have walked by it so many times at my local Meijer and never seen it, but after you talked about it I actually stopped and grabbed one to try.
I love the Studio M nail polishes. I wish Meijer still made their own brand of makeup (or if they do I wish my store still sold it), they had some of the best pigmentation for such an affordable cost. Did you ever try any of the Meijer makeup?
Hi I am a massive fan of your organisation/decluttering series you are my inspiration because lets just say I am a messy kind of person when I watch your videos I get up and declutter I need you as my personal declutter how can I employ you? Love your makeup videos!
Now I need to go watch Lindsay Does Nails so I don't feel like a hoarder! I may have a problem. On that note though, I recommend using a non slip pad that you can cut to size for the bottom of your drawers. I've seen them in bright colors at the dollar stores (I got mine at Target and kicked myself later when I saw them at dollar tree) and they work great for hiding indiscretions but also stop the boxes/product from shifting when you open the drawers...works awesome for me.
Try the elf nail polish remover pads! i just used them and they are awesome! they do dry ur nails out a little, but they definitely get the polish off wonderfully
I recommend the la colors nail polish remover pads at the dollar store it does the job but it does leave a greasy feel on your nail which comes off after you wash you hands. I think in only comes in the strawberry scent which I was skeptical about but I ended up liking it. It comes with thirty pads for a dollar you can't go wrong
After watching this I feel like I have a serious problem lol. I have at least 150 polishes and you feel the need to de clutter yours after about 40. Smh I feel like I need nail polish therapy now hahah.
Ummmm yeah I totally agree. I have an entire wall rack full plus two caddy's and then some ransoms hanging out in my bathroom that don't yet have a home. I wouldn't even dream to declutter them though. I love them too much 😍 #hoardmuch #nailaddict
Shopmissa.com is a $1 online store and they sell something similar to the nail polish remover pads. But these work so well. And have cuticle oil infused. I love them.
For those who don't know, Meijer is a superstore only in the midwest...more like a target quality but is more comparable to a walmart with selection :)
Zoya's bottle squirts too! I love their remover though so I deal with it. However..... Juleps bottle does NOT do that so I am probably going to save the next one I buy from them and keep it to refill 😉
For the nail polish remover pads, couldn't u just empty out the container with the existing pads and refill them them normal pads that will fit in there, drenched in nailpolish remover. Im not sure if its going to work but its worth a try?
The Sally Hansen polish pads come in different smells and they're really good but the are a little greasy but if u wash your hands after wards it's perfectly fine
I only have 4 nail polishes.A black matt one;corally pink one :bright baby blue and burgundy with light purple pink undertone. Its funny how you say you have a lot-I'd say i have very little and need new shades to try.
I saw you dump out all the colors, and I was thinking about my nail colors - and realized somebody would go "Dang, girl, you like nude nail polish, eh?" because that is ALL I own for my nails. :-)
I had the same thing happen to me with the nail polish remover! The only difference is that mine had a purple tint and that the remover leaked through the bottom of the bottle staining my Alex Drawers! :(
hey, love your videos! xx but just a tip that if you shake your nail polishes, they will dry up quicker so its best to turn it up side down and roll it around on your hand slowly or twirl your brush around in it. sorry!
Not sure if you're going to see this or still need the info but for the nail polish remover you can buy a pump dispenser on Amazon for pretty cheap and they work great and are shorter so they would fit in your drawer. If you are still looking for a better cuticle remover Sally Hansen makes a great removal gel that I have been using for years!
Wish I had the guts to declutter my polish but I'm obsessed with it. You can buy a polish thinner if your polish ever gets to thick, instead of throwing it out, only don't use it on glitter polish, learned the hard way it destroys it.
Since I'm watching all your old videos after watching your newer videos....I know how much Tyler likes to clean...and I just had the random thought...I wonder if Tyler ever got that stain out, lol.
Maybe put the nail polish remover you like in a new bottle? Maybe like a travel size one. That's what I do when things leak or the packaging isn't working for me.
Idea for your nail polish pads.....what if, you emptied out the pads in the container you have ( because they don't work well) and refill with makeup sponges/ pads ( the cotton ones) and wet it with the formula of nail polish remover you like.....recycle girl!;)
the formula of Tart deco is great for me. I don´t think I´ve ever had an essie with a bad formula like so many in America are complaining about. Maybe it´s the same with the brushes between Europe and America. Our brushes of the Essies are bigger here than in America and maybe the formula is better here too? :/
All the colors you own are divine! Makes me want to start using nail polish again!
I have a serious nail polish addiction. I'm a couponer so I get a lot of nail polish for free. My personal collection I decluttered it down from 140 bottles to about 75-80. I do the same for glitter! LOVE it.

Your decluttering videos always give me motivation to clean out my drawers!! Love you💗💚💜💙
I use my old and "bad" color nail polishes for crafts. I made butterflies for my room out of plastic soda bottles ;)
Ulta brand makes packets of nail polish remover that look like those handi-wipes you get in BBQ places. Jess! I love your videos! thanks for the new video for spending your time to please your fans, you're honestly a role model! love from New Jersey! 😻
I love the BUTTER London remover wipes. They're individually packed and perfect for travel. Cutex has them, too, but I find that I need lots of theirs to remove the same amount that 1 Butter pad does.
Thank you for motivating me to go through my stash and reorganize! ❤️

I've never seen the Studio M polishes at my Meijer. I'll be sure to look for them! Thanks for the recommendation, Jess!

I am going to finish watching this and then I am heading straight for my polish collection. #inspired ;)
For nail polish remover pads the LA color ones work really well and come in multiple scents to choose from
I got some remover wipes from the dollar store. I don’t remember the brand but they had red apples on the label and smelled like apples. They were amazing and you only had to wash your hands afterwards, otherwise it felt like you had slightly sticky juice on your hands.
Enjoyed your video!! I have 87 nail polishes I've had them over 2 years I definitely need to declutter all of it!! Thank you for the inspiration!!! :)
Ugh I just love your declutter videos! Your jewelry one was my favorite! :) now this one is too lol
Walgreens has a squirt bottle nail polish remover thing. Studio 35 was the brand I believe. The remover is actually good and I refill if with the Sally's remover. And girl, I have like 200 polishes and feel like I need more. You have awesome self control!
I found the same Essie nail wraps at the dollar store as well and they worked great!! went back and bought every design they had
Target has empty pump containers that you can put your own fingernail polish remover in( or whatever). They are about 3 inches high. Haven't tried but several times wish I would have picked one up.
I love this declutter series, I've been on it for the last 3 hours Jessica :D
The Sally Hansen Instant Cuticle Remover is awesome! It could replace that Essie cuticle stuff and I think you'd love it.
thank you for sharing this video with us, am looking forward to your declutter series :)
I don't want to sound preachy, but everyone should make sure they don't throw away nail polish in the regular trash. Good to know! :) Thanks Jennifer!
Loved watching this and all of your other videos you are Definitely one of my favorites! 😊
You should be very proud of yourself! I have such a hard time keeping my polish collection in check! I have a rack that holds 130 but I also have a small basket that I keep the ones that won't fit. I found the Essie nail stickers at the dollar tree also...and put a set on my toes...and they have been on FOREVER!!!!
Ahhh 50k you are my fav youtuber and such an inspiration to so many people😘💝
I just love your videos, you are such a sweet, sweet person! Keep rocking these videos girly!!
ULTA brand nail polish remover pads are amazing!!!! They come in individual packets like wet wipes do....and one will take off all ten fingers!! Already affordable at ulta but then use coupons, really great deal.
I've bought a bunch of the Essie nail strips at dollar tree and they work great!
For instead of the Essie cuticle cream thing you should try the Sally Hansen one it's amazing !
Love your videos, Jess!! I'm passing on the pronunciation of L'Occitane after hearing you say a few times that you struggle with it. It's lox-ee-tan in French, or close enough anyway. 💜
The CVS nail polish remover pads are really good!
I got the Essie decals from the dollar tree too! They didn't stay very long, but that's probably because I do martial arts and a lot of boxing so no polishes stay very long.
I have to say thank you for saying that you got the Studio M at Meijer because I have walked by it so many times at my local Meijer and never seen it, but after you talked about it I actually stopped and grabbed one to try.
the elf nail polish remover pads work so well
Good morning 🌅
Thanks for this, I just decluttered my own collection, due to your video! :)
I really enjoyed your de-clutter video!
I got really good nail polish remover pads at the travel section in Walmart for a dollar and they work really well and smell really good!
I love the Studio M nail polishes. I wish Meijer still made their own brand of makeup (or if they do I wish my store still sold it), they had some of the best pigmentation for such an affordable cost. Did you ever try any of the Meijer makeup?

The Sally Hansen cuticle remover works really well, and I'm sure is much more affordable than the Essie one. 😊
For nail polish remover pads
Butter London has great ones!! They can take of any nail polish!
oh man, my nail polish collection was expanding so rapidly that I had my boyfriend build me a nailpolish rack! 5 shelves at 18" long eek!
Now I need to go watch Lindsay Does Nails so I don't feel like a hoarder! I may have a problem.
On that note though, I recommend using a non slip pad that you can cut to size for the bottom of your drawers. Good morning 🌄
This was a fun video to watch! :) Loved it!
you did great, it looks so much better :)
girl ive got over 200 colors i use them all though and also with glitter i use a peel off base coat
Every time I watch one of your declutters I think “Man! I wish I was one of your sisters!” ;)
After watching this I feel like I have a serious problem lol. I have at least 150 polishes and you feel the need to de clutter yours after about 40. Smh I feel like I need nail polish therapy now hahah.

I'm over 170 & I have no plans to declutter, this video confuses me.
Lol I couldn't even imagine getting rid of any of mine either. I would be heartbroken 💔
Shopmissa.com is a $1 online store and they sell something similar to the nail polish remover pads. But these work so well. And have cuticle oil infused. I love them.
Nail polish remover solution, target has small pump bottles you can put your remover in. I even traveled with mine and didn't have any problems
I just buy the zoya, and when it runs out I just put regular nail polish remover in it. The bottle is nice to use on a regular basis.
For those who don't know, Meijer is a superstore only in the midwest...more like a target quality but is more comparable to a walmart with selection :)
Try the josie moran nail polish remover wipes. They are great
I should declutter my collection as well.. I have many ones that are gorgerous but completely dry and there isn't much in the bottles...
You can buy Cutex advanced revival in a pump bottle I have it and it is amazing!!!
I use the Sally Hansen cuticle remover and it's quite ok. I'd like to try the Blue Cross one, though.
I found the Essie stickers at the dollar tree too!!!:)
Zoya's bottle squirts too! I love their remover though so I deal with it. However..... Juleps bottle does NOT do that so I am probably going to save the next one I buy from them and keep it to refill 😉

The Sally Hansen Instant Cuticle Remover is the best one I've found :)
The Sally Hansen polish pads come in different smells and they're really good but the are a little greasy but if u wash your hands after wards it's perfectly fine
i like to use the Josie Maran nail polish remover. They sell them at Sephora!
you should try the ELF nail polish remover pads!

hey, love your videos! xx but just a tip that if you shake your nail polishes, they will dry up quicker so its best to turn it up side down and roll it around on your hand slowly or twirl your brush around in it. sorry!
TRY ELFS POLISH REMOVER PADS!! They're fantastic and I believe they're non acetone!
you can put some nailpolish remover on the pads before you leaving home for a holiday
Wizard makeup remover pads work so well and they are only 1 dollar off of shop miss a! I found that you could use just 1 for both hands!
Good afternoon 🌞
drop a few drops of your regular polish remover into the round remover pad holder thingee😁
I love your clutter videos
Do you have any recommendations for a top coat? I've been on the search for a good one :)

You did such a great job! I'm a little scared to declutter my nail polishes....there are SO many :/
What is the name of the duo-chrome blue that a subscriber sent you that you gave away, I neeeeed it
Jessica I love your videos
Maybe put the nail polish remover you like in a new bottle? Maybe like a travel size one. That's what I do when things leak or the packaging isn't working for me.
Also, know this was filmed a while back but good job!
I've used that CVS dispenser and it's great. I've had the same one for about a year and I refill it regularly. Yours was probably defective. :(
Idea for your nail polish pads.....what if, you emptied out the pads in the container you have ( because they don't work well) and refill with makeup sponges/ pads ( the cotton ones) and wet it with the formula of nail polish remover you like.....recycle girl!;)
I loved this video I would love to collab, i have been watching you for a while and I love your personality
Use a peel off base coat, the nail polish will come of very easily. Including glitter polish
the formula of Tart deco is great for me. I don´t think I´ve ever had an essie with a bad formula like so many in America are complaining about.
