Arin and Dan only finding out about the depths because of the maps is probably the most GG way they could have done that
Honestly thats how I found out about them too. I knew the big gooey buttholes around the map lead to something but I didnt want to get distracted, then the maps gave me a reason to go there.
I thought the chasms were just environmental story telling. Even when Yunobo directly told me to jump in the volcano I fucked around for an hour trying to figure out where to go next because I didn't think I could actually survive in the chasms
I found out about the depths because I thought I would die like in botw the Yiga hole, but I was pleasantly surprised instead XD
They actually found out about the depths by Dan reading it online.

But then I remember in BOTW the amount times people cheesed that game from the remote bomb and stasis alone. So really this is just a step up in that regard.

The Smashing Pumpkins Bit was Hilarious but my favorite part is when Dan suggested for Arin to Use a melon in his Inventory but it was just a trap for more of the Smashing Pumpkins joke. It was Dan's redemption for Updog, but it looks like that part didn't make the cut into this "best of" along with all the section cuts of filling the silence with "I'm like way into Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness".

i dont know the chances of it happening, but i started a coughing fit right as arin did at 11:10 , in zora's domain, and had to rewind to make sure i wasnt just hearing my own coughs. they were oddly synchronized.

What episode did this compilation start on? I just think it's really funny how long it took for them to discover the depths And seemingly how long it took for them to start making vehicles. I started watching fear the recently and I haven't caught up cuz I'll be watching with my girlfriend from the beginning. It's always fun to watch people who are genuinely enjoying themselves with games like these, especially if they're enjoying themselves without knowing everything the game has to offer, and then once they discover that it's exciting to see how happy they are. That's why I'm excited to see the finale of the series, I'm confident they're going to be really happy with the ending.
Did they do the regional phenomena quests out of order?
Watching these instead of keeping up with the series like I was has done wonders for my blood pressure.

As someone who enjoys game grumps, but is avoiding their TOTK play through til I can get it myself, can anyone tell me how much more of the game the grumps have got left to go?
I wanna try and get an estimate for how much longer this play through will take!
Okay, so without spoilers, ill reference the chunks (major quest stuff) and parts of the stories.
Part 1 has 4x chunks, and the gumps have 1x chunk to go before they finish. Part 2 through to the end has at least 2 chunks from my memory before the end game.
They're about half way through the game rn with that in mind :P it'll be a while haha
