This reminds me of when I was watching a documentary in history class about child labour in the Industrial Revolution in the UK, and because this was a BBC documentary from the 2000s halfway through they decided to put on the intro of how soon is now by the smiths. (I love the smiths, they’re one of my top bands) I hope no one was paying attention to me because they probably would have judged me for looking extremely happy while they were talking about child labour. Most of the things I’ve said have nothing to do with the video it’s just a situation I was reminded of
Watched Hamlet two days ago and... man was I moved. It was actually my first approach with Shakespeare (other than A Midsummer Night’s Dream played by a french company in my highschool). I didn't go into it earlier because it's not my native language and i thought i would be so lost in old english. But I gave it a go and once more David Tennant did not disappoint. I was really moved by his performance (and the whole RSC). The combination between his acting and the actual plot was pure gold. I look forward to seeing more of DT in theatre. Your edit has the same energy as the play, I truly appreciate that thanks!
David Tennant and the Smiths is such a golden combo.
Amen
