  • Trust me, this is NOT the update video that I wanted to make.
This is a short explanation of where I've been these past 5 months, and my unfiltered thoughts about the outragous events that happened yesterday in Israel, my home.
I won't be making any more videos on this issue, this is simply me getting a heavy weight off of my chest.
    This video is not monetized.

The number of Israeli victims has risen to over 700 by now, and the death toll just keeps rising. It's absolutely terrible.

Wish you and your family the best. I'm not the target demographic, as there's no question for me who to support here. Hope your video reaches open minds, if there are any left.

Thanks for your honesty, D.B. Here the conflict is far away, so its It is very touching to hear this voice from inside. May your family be safe.

Well delivered and surprisingly concise and to the point remarks. I disagree that this should be your last video on the matter; you're a unique point of view that is untarnished by any corporate associations and a channel that shows a history free of any propaganda. People will believe you. As things develop I encourage you to let us know how you are affected.

I will admit, I do not like the Israeli government one bit, but that being said, what Hamas has done is absolutely heinous. The Israeli people have my heart and prayers.

I don't like our government either. This has nothing to do with that, though.

I consider you a dear and close friend of mine, and while I have a lot to say on the matter, that will be between us when we get to talk.
I'm commenting here to say 2 things, 1st, thank you for this video. A sane, collected and mature outlook. Nothing of the "death to all XYZ" that is so often heard on either sides when this comes up.
2nd: It is amazing seeing your channel grow, have views and comments. You deserve it, but that is still awesome to see. Keep on, the 1m sub shield will eventually make it's way to you.

Well when one particular religion is founded by a p€dophile, slave-owning warlord, does it surprise you? Islam is not a religion of peace. Obviously that doesn’t mean every Muslim is violent, but from an objective standpoint Islam is centered around conversion by the use of violence.

      Yes I do.
It's everything going on at once, the baby, the war, the fact that the next film is Driving Miss Daisy and I'm procrastinating, that's why it's taking so long :)

@IaMD.B. Good to hear. I'm trying to watch them all myself (random order) and just passed the half way point. Very useful for trivia/Jeopardy prep. DMD is definitely in my bottom 5 atm, but it wasn't terrible. The Green Book is basically a modern-day reversed roles version of DMD that handled the theme/pacing better imo. You've got a lot of really good ones coming up though. Stay safe.

2-‘jews connected to the land since the beginning of time ‘ is not a fact it’s a belief and many jews have the belief that jews are prohibited from forming a country that’s another belief
But anyways it doesn’t give the right to forcefully displace the people that lived there bc you believe you are connected to the land
    - Israel expanded by displacing Palestinians from their towns using violent groups the most famous one being el haganah
-the displacement continued after international law distributed the land and Israel expanded beyond the land given
    - the displacement is STILL ongoing the most popular example is el sheikh jarah st where Palestinians refused to leave their homes but some homes were successfully occupied including a part of Muna el Kurd home occupied by internet famous Yakoub

-Jews have been here for ages, that's true. Just look at the archeological findings.
      - I agree that that doesn't give us a right to just kick people out. We earned that right when they started to kill us and try to drive us out from places that were legally bought by Jewish immigrants. I can understand that the Palestinians who were living here before Jewish immigration (which by the way, didn't even look at themselves as Palestinians, they just looked at themselves as arabs) were pissed about the situation. That's fair. But that doesn't give them a right to forcefully displace the people who were arriving legally and buying land legally, and living their legally, right?
-Israel expanded as a result of a defensive war that the Arabs started. Sure, some towns were displaced violently, and that's bad, war is never 100% good, including the current one. Bad things will happen. But you forgot to mention all the arabs who left becuase the arab leaders told them to leave. convinient.
-It's funny you judge Israel for expanding beyond the land given, as if we disrespected the agreement, when it was the Arabs who flat out rejected the agreement completely.
-The sheikh jarah example? Seriously? You do know that the Palestinians living there refused to pay rent, right? so they were evicted. That's what happens when you don't pay rent!

You think Palestinians live in peace? Or is it only your suffering that matters?
Maybe understanding the fact that this country was built on mass graves will make you understand why it needs to end bc no occupation in history was gifted a piece of land bc it continues to expand and occupy more land by dehumanizing Palestinians and making propaganda
Hamas was formed for resistance and it wouldn’t have existed if the occupation never happened if their parents were not killed in 1948 they wouldn’t have hated Israel so much if they were at least given basic human rights after the Nakba they wouldn’t have hated Israel

    • @IaMD.B.
      @IaMD.B.  6 місяців тому

Great point, you must be so proud.
You do know that every country was built on mass graves, right? Israel isn't special in that regard.
Also, saying that palestinians would'nt have hated Israel if Israel didn't exist is like saying that antisemites would'nt hate Jews so much if Jews just didn't exist. Faulty logic.

@@IaMD.B. I didn’t say if Israel didn’t exist I said if Israel didn’t displace them and steal their homes and commit genocides against them. Huge difference.
Sure every country is built on mass graves but according to international law Palestinians have the right to return to their land which Israel is not giving them and as i said Israel is STILL displacing Palestinians, the mass graves are Still happening today. no other country in the world gives citizenship based on religion, detains people from a different country with no charges and displaces people from their homes that is called apartheid

    • @kenzymaged8798

@@IaMD.B. also the issue isn’t with jews existing in Palestine it’s the Zionist ideology that you clearly showed in the video saying this land belongs to us and by focusing on your pain while saying that Palestinians pain is just a war casualty
Muslims and christians are living a horrible life inside of the occupied land and in Palestinian territories Muslims are prevented from performing prayers in e aqsaa mosque and in 2020 were attacked and killed inside the mosque and many Christians reported being spit at
And the police is never fair bc this is a Jewish state.

@@IaMD.B. if you think about it for a second that’s exactly how nazism started they wanted a ‘pure state’ just our people our race and everyone else doesn’t matter, to be able to do that they had to brainwash their citizens that every Jewish is a threat they dehumanized them and so they were able to mass kill them.
Just think about it if you lived back then in that injustice and suffering all your life how would you feel about that country?
That’s how I feel about Israel
