GTA 5 came out five years later. It makes sense that the graphics would improve as time went on. BTW, all the 3D games have mods available to make them look better. No, they're never going to look like GTA 5, but you can give them a fairly significant upgrade. Even GTA 4 & 5 can be spruced up a little with mods.
