Witcher 3, amazing good game in which ya kill shit, have sex, and get an old lady's frying for here. All that and ya get free DLC. The game literally says that they appreciate their players. I love it when companies actually care about their gamers.
+naw803 Actually you do have to pay for the DLC. Both the "Hearts of Stone" and "Blood and Wine" both cost money. I agree the Witcher is good and they care about their players. But Rockstar has added ten times more DLC to GTAV, despite it being over two years old, and haven't charged for any of it.
+NathanM4A1 GTA content is just a couple of cars and missions though (that all end up playing practically the same anyway), and with their banning of mods (specifically the mods that allow you to mod multiplayer) they kinda fucked the PC community up the ass hard.
Dakota Veaux Then that's your problem, not the games. OnlyNeedJuan Gaming Heists, Lowriders, Yachts, new Apartments, new Weapons and 50 odd new cars which all handle differently and have different ergonomics and aesthetics. That's not the same shit. That's a lot of new content that is different. And only a moron would allow people to mod a multiplayer game, which explains why you aren't a game developer. I can't think of a single online game that allows mods, because that would give some an unfair advantage. Use your brain before making comments. And anyway, I thought you guys were the master race.
NathanM4A1 Thing is, there were server mods that were seperate from the actual games, allowing people to mod freely. Yet those 2 mods were prosecuted for "being competition" even though they were free, and only affected a slight amount of the already tiny PC community. The heists were very good, I give them that, but the apartements were just there, cosmetics, the weapons were not really all that great (they all sound the same supressed which is the only way to run any weapon in GTA). The cars are ok, but honestly, modders could've created much more than that.
Omg I wish people would stop praising The Witcher 3. The majority of its fanbase didn't even know wtf it WAS until all the "hype" came about 3. I've played it and yeah its good, but far from amazing. It's graphics are brilliant though. Seriously, if there's one game that's overrated/overhyped, it's TW3. Followed by Mortal Kombat X.
TubeGamin420 Brother belive me I don't even have SIms 4, I still play, it has too much cashgrabbing too but atlast I can still play with reasonable amounght of content even if I don't have DLC.
+MCShvabo Sims 2 expansions were a bit...eh, but they were never that expensive so there wasn't much of an issue. Sims 3 expansions were, in my opinion, worth every penny because they added so much it was basically like buying a new game. Sims 4 expansions are possibly the biggest rip-offs I have ever stupidly bought one of.
How nothing from the Saints Row series was mentioned is baffling. "NEW CUSTOMIZATION ITEMS" = one new hat "NEW WEAPONS" = one gun that you can't use outside the DLC missions
Oddly enough, it seems that we are sent on real-world missions (aka, working, making money) to unlock this content. Aside from a few series like Street Fighter, one was confident that they could unlock the extra goodies with enough skill and patience.
LOL I was watching this and I'm like "So... what do you do in this game? route trains... Seems kinda cool... I guess... But boring. Really boring. And what kind of DLC and you even make for this?"
DLC has it's place, as long as it's actually expanding the core game & not substituting it. Which is the problem in most modern games. Very expensive game with absoluetly no content, which you then need to pay more get some actual gameplay.
+NINmann01 thats what annoys me the most. They jack up the price on an incomplete game, only having to pay MORE for the missing content. So ridiculous. The gaming industry has become nothing more than just a cash cow now it seems. :/
+NINmann01 well you just described the last Battlefront. The actual core game is only a fifth of what was ready when the game was launched. The other 4/5? DLCs. That's being assholes.
+NINmann01 There's also Godzilla: for PS4, people say it sucks but frankly, I love it, can be difficult though if you're fighting a smaller or constantly flying enemy (Mothra -_-) but when the creator ran out of time to add more monsters such as the 2014 Godzilla he made them, a Pre-Order Bonus, and DLC, along with different filters and figures for battle scenes, ALL OF IT, FREE.
Perfect example of how to do DLC right: Bloodborne 20 dollars for a massive expansion with awesome new weapons, bosses, locations, enemies, and lore. Also no preorder bonuses to be seen, and the DLC comes out a fair amount of time after the original game.
it's a ridiculous price but you can't really judge it because there's no word on what the content will be. It may double the amount of planets in the base game (which, to be fair, isn't asking a lot) or add in a few new playable characters. I'm sure that it'll be crap, but there's absolutely no word on what we'll be getting.
+Noah Evans It's double the base game, but the base game is ridiculously short with about no content, It's not a excuse for selling the season pass that much. I'd say that the season pass is the other half of the game which they cut out for $.
+Soviet Marine to be honest the base game should contain that season pass anyway its so limited. i was really hoping for a good game but as the public expected they screwed it up well done EA
+Tarbtano not considered because we don't know if they are good or not, and considering DICE's record with battlefield 4 the DLCs are probably worth it.
Darian Davis its good smart business practice but terrible for the well being of our pockets and the gaming industry. This is why we should encourage indie games as the they can prove to be competition for these AAA games and force them to lower their price at the risk of reduced demand.
the only DLC i actually don't regret is fallout 4 season pass (just the first DLC is fucking awesome i mean you can build fucking robots and they can be your companions and that is an addition to a full game(
That's why I stopped playing after the 2nd DLC. Cost too much money to even continue playing. The community is shit too considering its full of fucking 12 year olds.
Seriously, even if you don't play anymore go the bungie.net forums and look at the feedback forums, LOL! And to be honest, TTK is by far the worst DLC. It looked good initially then you certain realize weapons and gear are time gated and Bungie devs deliberately fucked everything they could up to extend grind. Why? Cause no DLC is coming after TTK, just "events" which dumbasses funded buying silver...
Capcom is legitimately the worst. They release DLC in the form of a new game which they charge close to full price for. Even worse, they do it every year, multiple times per year.
+Jayage capcom release their orignal game with a different menu 1 new character and like 2 new stages and calls it either super, ultra, mega, turbo charges the full price of a new game
I always wait for game of the year edition, then wait until it goes on sale before I make my purchase. There are only a few games I buy on day one. Others, I wait. I have too many games and very little time to play games anyway.
I like the hype and newness than comes with playing a game that has the newest( sometimes best graphics at the time) but if nobody cares about that then everyone-me included- would do just that.
What about Call of Duty black ops 3, advanced warfare, ghosts, black ops, black ops 2 etc.. ( For those who don't get what i mean with that, im talking about the fact that every cod release is basically a DLC with a few skin upgrades...)
What about them? They actually add replayability and build from the ground up. I know its popular to hatw on popular things but CoD does alright with DLC.
(Excuse my english it's not my native language) I guess im a little older than most of you guys because my opinion on a new, fresh game is different than what titles such as Call of Duty have to offer. Back in my day when there was a new release or a sequal to a title they were 100% NEW. Fresh ideas that completely changed the game while still leaving it the same as any other previous release. Don't get me wrong im not saying that COD is a boring game i meen they really try to be different.. since the first call of duty release back in 2003 i've bought every COD release and lets say after MW2 i was very, very dissapointed and i'm not someone that struggles with the price of these games, i actually make a wealthy living so it's not that im upset over the money i've spent on something i don't like. In my opinion todays games are worthless. I enjoyed a few titles such as Uncharted 2 (PS3) Metal gear solid 4 (PS3) Fallout new vegas but thats about it.
The horse armor was fine. It's made fun of now because of what it represented at the time, but honestly, a cosmetic DLC that has no mechanic alteration to the game? That's how I prefer my DLC done, honestly.
The true number one for me will always be Mass Effects 3's DLCs, not only the From Ashes one, that cut out the content with the Prothean from the game, but also the Leviathan DLC, that cut out the part of the game that explained who actually made the Reapers. They did have one completely valid and very good DLC for ME3 in the form of the Citadel DLC. It added a ton of additional content and a shitload of serious fun and fanservice.
But i still feel they should have included the whole "fan service" thing, characterdevelopement etc. into the original game like they did in ME and ME2, not in the citadel DLC. The game had almost no emotional side, unless you bought that.
I love AngryJoe. When he rates a video game, he doesn't take any of the industry's shit, and gives the game a fair rating, pointing out both pros and cons of each game in an extended review.
+SpecialJ11 Best and most honest I've found on the whole web without a doubt. I honestly hope he's having fun and getting rich as fucking hell at the same time.
+kuilan619 Total Biscuit isn't a reviewer. He even has an entire video on his channel, "Why I am NOT a reviewer" the defines what he is, what he does, and why he does it. Total Biscuit does great First Impressions (which is what he REALLY does), but does not actually review any games.
Arttu N. I know that by DLC they mean add-ons that actually add stuff to the game but Micro transactions should count in my opinion. They ruin the game for others in GTA and the with the free DLC they do come out with you basically need to buy shark cards to get any of it. Plus, like I said, DLC stands for downloadable content, and microtransactions are content that you download.
From Ashes wasn't bad but the fact it was a DLC made it ridiculous. Javik felt strongly tied to the game's plot, he had a lot of unique dialogue, especially on Thessia, he was even included in the Citadel DLC, and other characters treated him like a normal companion, he was meant to be in the original game but the publishers were too greedy and got him released as a DLC, the Particle Rifle with nearly unlimited ammo was nice, though Lancer from the Citadel DLC is better.
Bioware/EA are terrible for this; a good 40% of Dragon Age Origins is DLC (Witch Hunt, Stone Prisoner, Return to Ostagar etc), the second game was intended to be DLC and the true ending of Inquisition was not only DLC, but exclusively for next gen consoles and PC, while the original game was not, so lots of folks never got to experience it.
At least you didn't have to buy a more expensive 'Ultimate Edition' or whatever to get him. It came with every pre-order. Which, after the first game, a lot of people were interested in.
Yeah, Javik was a game-changing character that added a TON to ME3. The fact it was DLC was a little ridiculous to say the least. I’d say the same about the Leviathan DLC.
Most of them. Most DLC are an expansion to the Base game. Developers don't own you shit. They make a product, you buy the product. DLC isn't included in that.
+Club Nientiendo Amiibos aren't as bad as some other dlc (I'm looking at you, EA). When you buy an Amiibo you get a figure and new abilities, but the additional content doesn't supplement the base game. I can't really be mad at Nintendo because their games are generally so well made that DLC is never necessary.
+Bentley Wheelock (GentleMann Cheese) lol this quote reminded me about the latest season of southpark of how ads are becoming more smarter and harder to ignore.
+Club Nientiendo Amiibos are awesome. Not only do they supply just minor content, they are collectible. And unlike DLC, you can use them again on other games for more content at no extra cost. It's a good move in my opinion.
MasterJazz09 Not really. I mean, amiibos provide very little content to the game which some would argue defeats the purpose however, as previously stated, Nintendo games are so well made that DLC is hardly necessary. So, unlike many other games on the market, Nintendo games really do not require Amiibos or any other form of DLC and purchasing them will not greatly alter the experience. My point is that Amiibos are some of the only form of DLC that is 'optional' or otherwise not crucial to the game at hand. Also Amiibos can be used for many games, which is nice.
I never preorder a game and never buy DLCs, Season passes and I NEVER BUY GAMES THAT HAVE MICROTRANSACTIONS in them! I recommend everyone to do as me - wait for the GOTY / COMPLETE or whatever they call it edition with all the content included and for lower price! You lifes will be much better ;)
+Alex Golotvinov Yeah a lot of games are hyped up and when released, they are complete shit. Even if you can't wait that long. At least wait a week for the reviews to come out before you realize you pre-ordered for half a game.
+Alex Golotvinov Plenty of games don't do GOTY and in the case of games that are dependent on the MP community, then you may miss out on the game's hayday, or at least you'll be struggling behind the curve. Even better suggestion: pay what you think the game is worth. If you think the game is worth $5, then wait for it to go down to $5. If you think it's worth $100, then $60 is a bargain.
+The Kazekage (風影) yes it is lol what crack are you on I can run a full mario game in half a day if I wished to put time in and that means collecting all coins gold flags secret exits warp tunnels
+Czah5 Nah, he could easily say go check out every watchmojo video on their channel in honorable mentions.. A was subscribed for about a year and i even dunno why a i did that. I wanna know who is doing lists like this... They are terrible. I dont agree with 90% of listed things and i dont know anyone who agree with them.
I only buy story expansions. Sometimes MP map packs ind FPS'. But I don't see the sense in all that costume stuff in Tomb Raider and Batman for example. Why should i wanna pay for this?
For me, it's all 4 DLCs for Atomic Heart. It's all paint jobs for weapons. They released an all in one pack that's over $30.00. The worst part is, if you buy them all separately, you'd actually save money. Atomic Heart isn't even a good game.
1.)Fallout 2.)Fallout 3.)Fallout 4.)Fallout 5.)Any other Bethesda game except Rage 6.)Fallout 7.) Barbie horse adventures 8. )Fallout 9.) Real life (or is this just fantasy?) 10.) BOHEMIAN RA- I mean... IDK Gta I guess...
there was a racing game that had 50+ cars and loads of tracks but only 2 cars and 2 tracks were accessible without purchasing dlc. I can't remember what it's called now.
To everyone commenting about the new Battlefront. It's Star Wars: Battlefront EA. Anything with EA or Konami's name is guaranteed to be bad. And no I haven't play MGSV. Like AlphaOmegaSin I refuse to buy it.
+Jason Voorhees I still have faith in battlefront. It may redeem itself through updates. Shitty start though, with very few maps and unbalanced gameplay.
+bill arvan dude having hope for an EA game is like having hope at the age of 30 that Santa still exists. You're kinda wasting your time on a company that is as greedy as those pigs are.
Yeah i agree! Especially those "free" games! You can play the game for free and all, but if you want new weapons, cars, characters and maps, you're gonna have to pay for it! It's great fun when the things you have available suck compared to the ones you can buy. oh it's so much fun. >_
Remember Expansion Packs?, they were great (especially Half Life's Opposing Force and Blue Shift, BF2's Special Forces, Euro Force and Armored Fury and BF1942's the Road to Rome and Secret Weapons of WWII).
+Root Beer lmfao at the comment your pic But yeah man I honestly am, the whole game looks good and with a pretty promising story line, what about you man?
+Farruh Bulsara yeah they removed all the side missions from the original game and made it that dlc. But i always play that instead of the main story when i play mafia 2 because it's more about shooting.
Dragon Age Inquisition: Trespasser - Bad enough that they charge you to find out what happened at the end of the game but they didn't even put it out for two of the consoles that the game was ON! Basically MAKING you buy PC, X1 or PS4 version if you wanted to see it from the eyes of YOUR character. I thought that was a new low for Bioware.
+BrandonTrex Bethesda actually expand the game with most of their DLC and its not that expensive for what you are getting which is often many more hours of additional gameplay and theres almost always dlc with entire new maps to explore... atleast with their Action RPGs
I was just going say "There sure aren't many Nintendo games on this list." I've been disappointed by a lack of games on WiiU, but never by the quality or cost of games I've purchased for it.
If you get The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim LE or Fallout 3 GOTY the dlc packs come with the game, all of them. I even got posters with my Fallout 3 GOTY and it only cost me 15$ at GameStop, my LE only cost about 22$ (P.S I prefer Skyrim over fallout)
It kind of blows my mind that no one ever talks about the Killer Instinct DLC. Shipping an unfinished game with one character, and then charging the rest of the cast at five dollars each is beyond insulting. Even worse is that they market 'bundles', packing multiple characters for a bit less as if that's not still vastly overpriced. And even worse than that is that people fall for it. I just saw that you can get all 17 characters for 80 bucks. 17 characters. For 80 dollars. And it's digital only so that price will probably never go down. Meanwhile you can buy a 60 dollar fighting game with twice that many characters, with the possibility of a future price drop so you pay even less.
Would be nice. I loved the original KI games, and while I don't think this one has lived up to their legacy, I'd still like to get it and try it out for myself. But I absolutely will not be paying more than the standard 60 dollar price tag for it. I won't even consider getting it until they're finished with it anyway. It'll end up $120+ before they're done.
+Odiekun Thank you for reminding me why I did not buy KI in the first place even if it's one of the best-looking games out there. Almost all of the known roster is PAID DLC!
+bigevilworldwide1 is truly a shame because Asura's Wrath has one of the coolest videogame stories so far.....but maybe it would have been better if it was an anime...
+Mr. TeM Maybe, but hands down. From the Gameplay aspect, Asuras Wrath was one big disappointment. Yeah sure, it looks Epic and all, but mostly all you do, is watching a Movie and hit buttons.
The black market weapons from Black Ops 3, to get the good weapons you need to basically play roulette and the chance of getting the weapon you want is low. You can play the game to earn the points needed for the store, but you can pay to get some points, but still the odds of getting the weapon is still low. A majority of the time you get profile cards, camos and cross-heirs. and once again you get mostly doubles.
+iamgem OK so lets think this through alright........ so COD has 4 DLC's released every 2 months. So 2 months add 2 months add 2 months add 2 months makes 8 months.....
Total war wahammer announced a preorder dlc for the chaos faction (THE most important faction in warhammer fantasy) 10 months before the game was set to come out. To add insult to injury the faction is still in the game, you just have to pay to access it. The main hate for dlc is developers cutting content obviously supposed to be in the main game
+LyleVSXyle Originally Season Passes were made by episodic games like Telltale, allowing you to just spend a fixed price for the whole game (or the rest past episode 1), and then a bunch of companies went 'Hey, this will be good for getting people to actually buy DLC', which is quite nice because it's easier to just spend a lump sum once than try and scrape money together when each DLC comes out. and then Evolve fucked it all up with 'Season 2'.
SoldierSZ★HD Season Pass: Pay some extra money to get all DLC as it is released. Game of the Year Edition: A version of the game that includes all DLC in it's price, released once all DLC is done. (Can be called a bunch of different things, like 'Legendery Edition' or something like that.)
+darkstar 1651 not really cuz it came with: 1. New Raid 2. Weapons you wanted to get 3. 2 New exotic weapons that are currently not to bad 4. A bunch of new exotic armour 5. New Storyline 6. New vendor 7. 2 New strikes 8. New grimoir cards and ghost shell locations
Skyrim Dragonborn dlc same price, Huge new area to explore, new side quest, new armor, new house to buy, more dungeons, new main story quest, new companions and it was bigger than Destiny base game. Fallout 4 Far Harbor: New area to explore, new side quest, new armor and weapons, new companion, new settlement areas, new main quest with different endings, new dungeons and building, bigger than Destiny's base game again same price. I could continue but why bother my point is these two dlcs took me just as long to beat as Destiny's base game if not longer and Dark Below took a day. So no I think this dark Below dlc is not worth the price they charged.
There should at least be an honorable for the weapons in Team Fortress 2. Seriously, Valve expects you to pay 6 bucks for a weapon from the Mann Co. Store that costs five cents on the community market.
It's a free game and the weapons are totally optional, they have no real effect on gameplay. And as you stated you can get them really cheap on the market place so there is no issue
+Daniel Ives In TF2 you can get every weapon for free, you just gotta get it as a random drop. If you can't wait you can buy it, or you can trade a weapon for another with another player. Also, the game is balanced quite well. The default weapons are good enough to go against other weapons. So yea, get wrecked nerd.
Wait... shivering isles dlc was awesome, I loved it! So I can’t tell what the joke is here lol, if ppl really think shivering isles sucked then damn, that sucks for them. I mean it had Sheogorath for Christ sakes, this is crazy, it’s all just a troll and I fell for it. Ya’ll wouldn’t consider such a thing.
Ah, yes, Enter The Dominatrix. I wouldn't put that anywhere near this list, though- for starters, where else can you slam-dunk fursuiters into cages with telekinesis? XD
Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 season pass is an unlock key for locked content that's already on the disc, what's worse is that they're making us wait for weeks before the next DLC pack is released
Most DLC these days is bad. What used to be a cool feature to expand a COMPLETE game has turned into scamming and unnecessary cut content. Only a few developers like Nintendo and Bethesda do DLC well anymore.
CD Project Red makes good DLC too i really like the Heart of Stone expansion and even tho Nintendo is new to the DLC stuff they do it way better than these othere bug company's do like EA abd Activision.
How about season passes for dlc not even announced? Who knows if it will be worth it, and you don't even know what it is, but go ahead and buy it anyways!
+Alex Davis True. I did buy the season pass for Fallout 4, but when I explained the purchase to my elderly non-gamer parents a while back and showed them the website (with the promise that the DLC "would be worth at least $40, so you're saving money here"), they said "unbelievable, that looks like a total scam, how can a reputable company pull something like that off?"
+Vulpes Inculta Did you answer them ''because most gamers are stupidly gullible'' ? And before you get your piss boiling I'll tell you I'm a gamer too, been for more than 20 years, and this pre-order, dlc, season pass bullshit is all our fault. The industry is merely taking advantage of this.
+Alex Davis I got mine included with some vault-boy socks from Best Buy, so I guess I can't really say I'm disappointed since I did get some vault-boy socks.
At the time of this writing, April 19, 2016, the total cost of DLC for Train Simulator is $5,408.39 with one item on sale. That would be 261 individual DLC "packs."
+Jimmy John Battlefront 2(with some mods) is a hell of a lot more valuable than Battlefront. Why do so many devs feel that outdated games gameplay wouldn't be fun anymore? If they just remade BF2 and gave it a graphical, AI and battle-scale overhaul(like BF3 was going to do) it would have been game of the year without having to invent an entirely new(poorly designed) game. No one values the classics anymore.
I wish we can buy a full game at first purchase. It seem companies are squeezeing more and more money out of us with DLC. Worst case is that scam of a game, Destiny.
Destiny is easily better than any of that reskinned crap that CoD or any sports game *cough* *cough* ea *cough*. At least the expansions, not dlc, but expansions add more diversity to the game. The only thing that I have ever bought on my play station that destiny expansion was something that had the proceeds go to the veterans of America.
+Gabriel Luther What!? Dude, people who have been playing since day one on destiny have already payed over double the price of what they bought it, and if you don't get the dlc you can't play the game. At least call of duty your not forced to buy maps.
+Gabriel Luther stfu you destiny nerd i have destin no way in hwll will i buy a 80$ slc for like 5 guns and two missions and a boss duck outa here bungie
Well everyone who got TTK and RoI now have the DB as the 390 raids are out but still the DLC to start was never overpriced and had hours of playtime £20 for around 100 hours of playtime if fantastic!
Ehh, From Ashes was alright. But seriously, it feels like everyone hates every type of dlc now a days, thinking it should have been in the game from the start, for free. But hey, I like most of the dlc I buy. I also do research on it before I buy it.
Also, I don't think that WatchMojo chose bad on this list, I just think that From Ashes was a little high on the list, and the amount of dlc complaints that come out when a dlc is released, even if it is a good one, feels a little high todays.
+SMC Clan I agree. From Ashes was pretty decent. That being said however, it was pay-wall/preorder gated content. Pretty good content considering, but still.
+SMC Clan The problem isn't, that the DLC is bad. People despise the fact, that EA took a character, that should be a vital part of the story and ripped it out for a cash grab. If Javik was part of the core game, he could've been utilized better as a part of the main plot.
Hangman108 I agree, Javik was a MAJOR character in the game, since he is a Prothean, and you have been hearing about the Protheans from the beginning/Mass Effect 1 as a mystical and ancient, extinct race. He should not of been a dlc at all, instead yes, they shouldv'e tried to integrate him into the games main story, or at least add him in as a major bite of dlc such as the citadel sized.
i actually bought the horse armor because i had just enough leftover microsoft points to buy it and i assumed it had some additional gameplay or missions since i had recently bought The Shivering Isles, The Wizard's Tower, and Knights Of The Nine DLC's
They also had the problem of putting core features there since release behind a paywall when TTK came out.....Now,i have the game plus all the dlcs, but it still gets really lame some times
Pretzel the main issue is that the dark below was pretty much complete before destiny launched. That means it was cut from the base game for the purpose of selling it (and house of wolves as well) as dlc.
There's also the Pheremone Z DLC for Gal*Gun: Double Peace. It's a piece of $90 DLC that adds an in-game item that allows you to see through girls' clothes. Yeah, released long after this list, but still.
Neither is Horse Armour or easy fatalities but they're still a rip. Amiibo content is more of a ripoff cause its part of the game as they sold it to you. Its just a new form of that sane on disc DLC we all gave Capcom shit for back in SF4.
+Johnny Rico Why are you even on here, purely to complain? I truthfully gave up on them a while ago, but every so often they make a video that interested me(This one)
That could have easily outclassed the number 10 spot, as horse armor, while it could have easily just been included, was thankfully cheap yet actually quite useful.
I started playing PC/Video games in 1991. My favorite era by far was late 90s-early 2000s. In the good old days; you get to play some of the most amazing games ever + usually one good expansion pack+ patches. The expansion pack would be the equivalent of half a dozen DLC's in content and only half the price of the original game. Also you would get amazing mods that already did far more than most DLC's do for most modern games. Now; a lot of corporations are reducing the modability of their games to make room for their (greed) DLCs. You get 20 DLCs (Paradox), giving you features that should have come with the original game or a free patch in the first place. It is a fucking joke at this point.
Dead Or fucking alive 5 have 2 season pass if not 3 by now and it cost 92.99$ per pass and it all just give you costumes and a new character that is it-.- So lets count them all down. 3 season pass 92.99 each and the main game 39.99$ wow i mean my god.
What about in the Borderlands series you have to pay to continue leveling up and get rid of the level cap? And have to pay for additional playthroughs with the same character?
The taken king was good. And the other two dlc weren't that bad either. I think people are blowing it out of proportion. I have enjoyed destiny through out this year and I can't wait to see what happens with it. I just think people disappointed themselves. They were expecting something game changing. When in fact it was never going to be.
MrRageasaurus a lot of games lol but what i mean is 90% of the missions are basically hoard missions and you spawn in the same looking place for most of the game
DLC and Preorder bonus are the cancer of the videogames
And your comment is a cancer to my brain
+Jodoin Maxime man my comment must be a tiny cancer then
+FJ Havok Yes.....just so much yes to everything you just said.
+FJ Havok preorder bonuses, yes.
DLC. no
+Daydream studio agreed

The Sims can fill this list themselves I swear...
+MCShvabo the get to work dlc is a waste of in game time and real life money
TubeGamin420 Brother belive me I don't even have SIms 4, I still play, it has too much cashgrabbing too but atlast I can still play with reasonable amounght of content even if I don't have DLC.
+MCShvabo Not to mention that each DLC or expansion pack for Sims cost the same as the original game and there are like 20 of em for each game...
The-Kris555
I know man...and people buy it...
"NEW CUSTOMIZATION ITEMS" = one new hat
"NEW WEAPONS" = one gun that you can't use outside the DLC missions
Yes but that WAS a pretty cool hat
that is really how it happened......im fuckin done with humanity's greediness
+SANSational Puns well you say that....
Michael Potok not sr3 or sr2. src and sr4 sucked ass already
Michael Potok that's like the mii fighter costumes in super smash bros.
DLC these days are a complete joke!
+SEBASTIAN RHODES - Comedy, Vlogs, Skits, Parodies The only DLC I liked was Skyrim and The Sims
+Joshua Niks Especially the 1 with katy perry omg
+SEBASTIAN RHODES - Comedy, Vlogs, Skits, Parodies DLC is cancer for the gaming industry
except for fallout,CoD battlefield etc.
+witchhunt301 microtransactions is worse.
i miss games back in the day when you just only collect hidden items/objects to unlock the extra content. :(
Like the skulls in the Halo games?
Ah yes, the latest and only example I can think of is in Serious Sam 3 where you can find his original sneakers and that unlocks his original design
Oddly enough, it seems that we are sent on real-world missions (aka, working, making money) to unlock this content. Aside from a few series like Street Fighter, one was confident that they could unlock the extra goodies with enough skill and patience.
I mean those secret unlocks werent that big but very simple stuff compared to basically a new mini world that dlcs can give you
Or using cheat codes to mess with the game.
I miss the time when companies did great expansions packs.
Well even before that they had to re-release games to add on like Kingdom Hearts final mix or Fable the lost chapters!
The one with the shark cards? Yeah, very much amazing expansions! -.-
Cd project red.... especially with the two add one for the witcher 3. really great dlcs
Gone are the days of Starcraft Broodwar, Red Alert 2 Yuri's Revenge & C&C General Zero Hours.
Those were the best expansion I've ever played.
i think of "warcraft 3: the frozen throne" and "morrowind: tribunal & bloodmoon". those were filled with high quality content.
You must really hate your life if you actually play a train simulator
LOL I was watching this and I'm like "So... what do you do in this game? route trains... Seems kinda cool... I guess... But boring. Really boring. And what kind of DLC and you even make for this?"
yeah Trainz simulator is much better 1000's of content for free to download !!!
Well their fun if you like crashing trains.
Shannon Beltran LO!
There's a farming one, too, apparently.
It's been a while since a good top 10 like this got uploaded!
+acriticalhit64 Nope
In the case of WatchMojo, another one probably came out 10 seconds after.
+Tyler Smith I'm sorta pleased and pissed with some games that came on this list.
I can't wait for 'Top 10 shoes in video games' and 'Top 10 sneezes in video games'
legalam Expect people to be shouting "WHAT ARE THOSE" in the comments once it gets uploaded.
DLC has it's place, as long as it's actually expanding the core game & not substituting it. Which is the problem in most modern games. Very expensive game with absoluetly no content, which you then need to pay more get some actual gameplay.
Just buy Bloodborne :D
+NINmann01 thats what annoys me the most. They jack up the price on an incomplete game, only having to pay MORE for the missing content. So ridiculous. The gaming industry has become nothing more than just a cash cow now it seems. :/
sorry to interrupt, but I heard you were talking about star wars battlefront
Perfect example of how to do DLC right: Bloodborne
20 dollars for a massive expansion with awesome new weapons, bosses, locations, enemies, and lore. Also no preorder bonuses to be seen, and the DLC comes out a fair amount of time after the original game.
Same with Dark Souls 1 and 2. Fromsoft are great.
+Avner Weiss Dark Souls 2 had Pre-order exclusive weapons though (which didn't even show up for me)
+Avner Weiss and almost every Bethesda game
KackBratz A pity but at least, everyone was able to access them within the game anyway.
So far the only good Capcom DLC I know of is the Dark Arisen.
There's a dlc for Darksiders 2 that makes your horse run fatser. Just saying.
Wow……just……wow……
Your kidding that's fucking it what a ripoff
What are you talking about the horse armor expansion for Obilivion was revolutionary and added hundreds of hours onto the game
+Yim UIOp and nowe its a mod most dont even bother dowoading
+Jimmy John sir you are using the wrong scale, it's 5/7
Jordan O'Keeffe fuck you it started this DLC cancer
Doesnt Exist s a c a r s m
No Battlefront 2015 $50 season pass?
+Tarbtano I know, Shortcut got an honorable mention but they instead put HORSE ARMOR on this list..
it's a ridiculous price but you can't really judge it because there's no word on what the content will be.
Number 1 should be anything from Destiny.
The fact tha you have to buy one dlc to buy the other make me cringe
+WhiplashSL well at least the destiny one add new npcs, armor, guns, new maps, missions, etc.
Thank god someone gets it.
Can say confidently I've spent over £130+ on the game and even taken king still sucks massive fucking ass, sold my game for like £5
matty bill Damn you must be very stupid for selling a game for that price....
How about... Every DLC released by a AAA title ever. They are just selling you two halfs of the game separately and each for the price of a full game.
I don't mind DLC for a AAA game, as long as the DLC adds to an already complete and satisfying game.
Darian Davis Yeah but the point i was trying to get across is that it doesn't happen :D. They make a full game then give it to you in two halves
holownsu Yeah, I hate it when they do that. It really is a rip off.
Darian Davis its good smart business practice but terrible for the well being of our pockets and the gaming industry. This is why we should encourage indie games as the they can prove to be competition for these AAA games and force them to lower their price at the risk of reduced demand.
the only DLC i actually don't regret is fallout 4 season pass (just the first DLC is fucking awesome i mean you can build fucking robots and they can be your companions and that is an addition to a full game(
$10 to do the Thriller Dance in Destiny is just plain stupid and pointless lol. Should have at least got an honorable mention.
As a MJ Fan.......
.....that's still laughably stupid
I bought it
+TheKoltam
Says the sheep.
+Jesus Burgess Because it's not DLC it's a microtransaction
+Tekken Evolution A microtransaction is a form of DLC
Destiny should be number 1. Sold us beta version then tried to sell the full thing again a year later.
That's why I stopped playing after the 2nd DLC. Cost too much money to even continue playing. The community is shit too considering its full of fucking 12 year olds.
+ALazyCamper it's fine just get the legendary edition
+ALazyCamper god your profile pic is horrendous. it makes me shudder.
Spike Razzor time gated?
Capcom is legitimately the worst. They release DLC in the form of a new game which they charge close to full price for. Even worse, they do it every year, multiple times per year.
+idratherbeanonymous no there bad but Team Ninja is way worst then Capcom.
+Jayage capcom release their orignal game with a different menu 1 new character and like 2 new stages and calls it either super, ultra, mega, turbo charges the full price of a new game
Team Ninja does the same thing not only that they have three season passes for dead or alive 5 that cost 92.99 just to buy one of them.
Jayage i don't even like 3d fighters xD
+Forgotten Biohazard ???
I always wait for game of the year edition, then wait until it goes on sale before I make my purchase. There are only a few games I buy on day one. Others, I wait. I have too many games and very little time to play games anyway.
I like the hype and newness than comes with playing a game that has the newest( sometimes best graphics at the time) but if nobody cares about that then everyone-me included- would do just that.
What about the Battlefront DLC Season Pass?????
Yeah what about it? Dlc stand for downloadable content, battlefront hasnt released dlc yet, which makes your comment irrelevant
And we cant really say a dlc is bad If it hasnt been released yet can we?
lel
+bazooka142 CONSIDERING HOW ITS THE OTHER HALF OF THE FUCKING GAME?
+bazooka142 the game itself is a dlc lmao....
Before watching, I expect Payday somehow
well there is not bad dlc in payday there is TOO much dlc
+Hüseyin Sami Orhun Gökçenoğlu I was more thinking about the micro-transactions. They said they would never put those in but they still did.
I agree they fucked over the game.
+Hüseyin Sami Orhun Gökçenoğlu The "Completly Overkill Pack" wants to talk with you ^^
haha agreed , ive waisted a lot!
What about Call of Duty black ops 3, advanced warfare, ghosts, black ops, black ops 2 etc.. ( For those who don't get what i mean with that, im talking about the fact that every cod release is basically a DLC with a few skin upgrades...)
+Yarnell Riley Dude, CoD isn't the only franchise in existence, besides being a very shitty one.
cod dlcs actually add on to the game. the games playable without dlc
What about them? They actually add replayability and build from the ground up. I know its popular to hatw on popular things but CoD does alright with DLC.
(Excuse my english it's not my native language)
I guess im a little older than most of you guys because my opinion on a new, fresh game is different than what titles such as Call of Duty have to offer.
Lone Wolf no, 4 new maps and a zombies map in each DLC plus new character skins and weapons. i dont think uve played COD have you?
The horse armor was fine. It's made fun of now because of what it represented at the time, but honestly, a cosmetic DLC that has no mechanic alteration to the game? That's how I prefer my DLC done, honestly.
really, paid DLC either has to offer lots of new content or else be so inconsequential that you're not missing anything if you don't buy it
Hylian Fox Yup, either cosmetic or "essentially an expansion" are my preferred DLC types.
You perfer your DLC to have very little effort put in for a high price?
I love AngryJoe. When he rates a video game, he doesn't take any of the industry's shit, and gives the game a fair rating, pointing out both pros and cons of each game in an extended review.
+SpecialJ11 Best and most honest I've found on the whole web without a doubt. I honestly hope he's having fun and getting rich as fucking hell at the same time.
+SpecialJ11 Agreed. At least there's one person on UA-cam who's willing to fairly rate a game despite being constantly attacked by fanboys.
+Twilight13 Tb's pretty good
EDIT: imo of course.
+kuilan619 Total Biscuit isn't a reviewer. He even has an entire video on his channel, "Why I am NOT a reviewer" the defines what he is, what he does, and why he does it. Total Biscuit does great First Impressions (which is what he REALLY does), but does not actually review any games.
same and when he thinks a game sucks he turns it into a rant that's funny asf like his Star Wars Battlefront review I nearly died of laughter lol
Battlefield Hardline ?
The whole game xD
*expansion pack
Saints row 4
+zack kennedy exactly that game was a huge fucking let down. Fuck EA or DICE or whatever they are
+Denomic creamer True there are no good dlc other than the eagle
Where are GTA 5's SHARK CARDS?
+KoolDawg99 those arent downloadable content those are micro-transactions. HUGE DIFFERENCE.
MrRageasaurus It's still content that you download...
+KoolDawg99 Stop talking if you dont know what you are talking about.
+MrRageasaurus But they put BF3 Short cuts in honorable mention.
Are there any DLCs that *shouldn't* be on this list?
The Last of Us: Left Behind
Skyrim: dragonborn, dawnguard
+Richard The Chef Diablo 2 Expansion pack? ^^ Starcraft Expansion pack?
bf bad company 2: Vietnam
Most of them. Most DLC are an expansion to the Base game. Developers don't own you shit. They make a product, you buy the product. DLC isn't included in that.
how about the unlockable content via amiibos?
+Patrick Kelly in a wa amibos are kinda worse then standard dlc
You lifes will be much better ;)
the game of the years coast more then the base game but ya it better to wait for goty
+Alex Golotvinov Yeah a lot of games are hyped up and when released, they are complete shit. Even if you can't wait that long. At least wait a week for the reviews to come out before you realize you pre-ordered for half a game.
Sure you will receibe a Call of Duty GOTY someday.
+Alex Golotvinov Not every game gets a goty edition.
If you think it's worth $100, then $60 is a bargain.
star wars battlefront EA season pass
wats so bad about that
You have to pay an extra 50$ for the other half of the game. Still with the season pass, Battlefront still isn't a complete game.
Anything EA touches spells doom
@@bluebeary1877 you can only use the dumb shit online, otherwise you spent 90 bucks on a demo. Dipshit
Best DLC ever is Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep
if you do not have the patience to unlock the crypt by working through diffrent challange and you can not hit fatalities you should go play mario
Which Mario?
+Lemur Dawid the original mario
the original is probably one of the hardest
Mario isn't easy
+The Kazekage (風影) yes it is lol what crack are you on I can run a full mario game in half a day if I wished to put time in and that means collecting all coins gold flags secret exits warp tunnels
Top ten worst watchmojo videos
+RevelationWolfe ah that would be a good video!
I could actually try that.
Awobbie. Nice, you just got yourself a new subscriber! i really wanna see that video!
There would have to be atleast 30 minutes of honorable mentions.
Thing is now in battlefront we do have to pay for a Death Star battle...
Dead or Alive 5 Last Round with their $93 Season Passes :P
+MSP10julia $93? That's just too god damn much.
The Abstract Lover so much lol
just for the few costumes that are actually any good
+JonX Fc yeah, but most of them are sexy... c:
+MSP10julia Real grill > Virgin's waifu
I only buy story expansions. Sometimes MP map packs ind FPS'. But I don't see the sense in all that costume stuff in Tomb Raider and Batman for example. Why should i wanna pay for this?
Ha like #1???
just use unlocker
+Asdasdasd Asdasdasd whats unlocker?
check out some chinese gaming website,u could get some dlc unlocker there
I buy dlc costumes for collecting tbh, but only if it comes in a goty edition
train simulator now has over $5,000 of dlc
For me, it's all 4 DLCs for Atomic Heart. It's all paint jobs for weapons. They released an all in one pack that's over $30.00. The worst part is, if you buy them all separately, you'd actually save money.
Atomic Heart isn't even a good game.
Top 10 games with good sidequests.
1.)Fallout
2.)Fallout
3.)Fallout
4.)Fallout
5.)Any other Bethesda game except Rage
6.)Fallout
7.) Barbie horse adventures
8. )Fallout
9.) Real life (or is this just fantasy?)
10.) BOHEMIAN RA- I mean... IDK Gta I guess...
+Tyler Smith Ever heard of the witcher 3 or where you're fanboy glasses obscuring you're vision.
+Christian Smaldone Yeah Fanboy Glasses, I JUST LOVE BARBIE HORSE ADVENTURES SOOOO MUCH!!!!
Morrowind had the funniest and Oblivion had the most interesting and different.
+Tyler Smith Bethesda ruined Fallout
what about payday 2? 5.99$ for 1 character and 7.99$ for 1-2 heists and also, no season pass
What about the payment of requisition packs in Halo 5
Angryjoe on youtube calculated that to get all of the cosmetics in the game it is $1101.60
Those are microtransactions, not dlc.
true, but mortal kombat x easy fatalities were aswell
pay day
at least we get free maps in exchange of the microtransactions
+GrandGoji99 Those are optional. They don't affect multiplayer in any way (in arena anyway) and they are completely luck based.
there was a racing game that had 50+ cars and loads of tracks but only 2 cars and 2 tracks were accessible without purchasing dlc.
Shitty start though, with very few maps and unbalanced gameplay.
bill arvan It's EA. There's no hope for the game.
+bill arvan dude having hope for an EA game is like having hope at the age of 30 that Santa still exists. You're kinda wasting your time on a company that is as greedy as those pigs are.
+bill arvan I'm pretty sure EA already announced the next Battlefront for the end of 2016, so I don't think they'll care for this one much longer.
bioware games these days are good though they are like the only games I get from ea
DLC should not exist. They should be unlockable by completing certain mission, not by money
agreed
Actual add-on content is fine, like in Rock Band. That wouldn't exist without DLC.
I'm not defending the abuse of DLC rampant in the industry however.
Ron Jacobe Lagahit but expansion packs are expansion packs. sometimes DLC's are useless things that they want to trick you into buying.
Jimmy's vendetta for mafia 2 was garbage.
Yeah those looked bad I'm honestly glad my hype for mafia died when those came out
+Headphone Static You hype for Mafia 3? Racist cops are not a DLC.
+Root Beer lmfao at the comment your pic
But yeah man I honestly am, the whole game looks good and with a pretty promising story line, what about you man?
Headphone Static I kinda am. The gameplay style reminds me of Crackdown: no actual missions. Just bullshit it until they die.
Nintendo has been doing thier DLC right.
And Bethesda
+BrandonTrex Bethesda actually expand the game with most of their DLC and its not that expensive for what you are getting which is often many more hours of additional gameplay and theres almost always dlc with entire new maps to explore... atleast with their Action RPGs
I was just going say "There sure aren't many Nintendo games on this list." I've been disappointed by a lack of games on WiiU, but never by the quality or cost of games I've purchased for it.
Yup the most of them are free and the ones wich arent cost only like 2-5 dollars
If you make a best video game DLC ideo I hope to see Witcher 3 in the first place.
TESIV:Oblivion's Shivering Isles
They already did.
10 beautiful hours for only 10 dollars
even longer if tooken the time.
+501R4K Far cry 3 Blood Dragon
+501R4K TES III:Bloodmoon
I really hope they cheapen the price out for the PC port, cause KI looks hell of fun to play, but this shit, seriously...
+Odiekun I think a lot of people have essentially forgotten that game exists.
EA.....nuff said
Swvsh 哲学TM EA is practically a bunch of black marketeers, especially for the DLC for Plants Vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2.
Asura's wrath is a good game, but i'll se the Part 4 here on youtube, after i finish the game ;)
Smart man ^_^
+bigevilworldwide1 is truly a shame because Asura's Wrath has one of the coolest videogame stories so far.....but maybe it would have been better if it was an anime...
+Mr. TeM Maybe, but hands down. From the Gameplay aspect, Asuras Wrath was one big disappointment. Yeah sure, it looks Epic and all, but mostly all you do, is watching a Movie and hit buttons.
Remember the old days? When you unlocked new content by actually being good at the game?
COD: Aadvanced Warfare where they made you buy a DLC if you wanted to play zombies...
Hi, random person scrolling through the comments, hope you have a good day.

I swear if The Taken King isn't number one I'll shank my dog and I
+Captian Colon good look killing your dog Kappa
+Captian Colon good look killing your dog Kappa
+Captian Colon Have you shanked your dog yet?
+Unorthodox Reviews yes
+Captian Colon you do it yet?
I think it's hilarious that call of duty releases a new DLC every 2 months but releases an entirely new CoD game every 8 months. Like wtf?
+iamgem OK so lets think this through alright........ so COD has 4 DLC's released every 2 months. So 2 months add 2 months add 2 months add 2 months makes 8 months.....
+iamgem Fix your logic boi.
+Swifters Supercard CoD fanboi detected
Nope just stating facts
And correcting your logic
Total war wahammer announced a preorder dlc for the chaos faction (THE most important faction in warhammer fantasy) 10 months before the game was set to come out. To add insult to injury the faction is still in the game, you just have to pay to access it.
The main hate for dlc is developers cutting content obviously supposed to be in the main game
Who's the genius who decided that a Season Pass was a good idea?
+LyleVSXyle it sounds like a good idea but the game of the year edition is a better deal
+LyleVSXyle Obviously it is, if it didn't make them money they wouldn't have done that. What _is_ a stupid idea is to buy one.
+LyleVSXyle Originally Season Passes were made by episodic games like Telltale, allowing you to just spend a fixed price for the whole game (or the rest past episode 1), and then a bunch of companies went 'Hey, this will be good for getting people to actually buy DLC', which is quite nice because it's easier to just spend a lump sum once than try and scrape money together when each DLC comes out.
and then Evolve fucked it all up with 'Season 2'.
bigevilworldwide1 he asked where SEASON PASSES came from, not DLC.
Cough cough Star Wars battlefront 3 cough cough season pass cough cough 40 $ cough
cough cough cough cough cough all cod games after mw3 cough cough
+MADNESSCOMBAT10 just simply don't buy that DLCs if you don't like more skin
It's not Star Wars Battlefront 3. It's just Star Wars Battlefront.
+Marioman303 It's the third installment of the series doh
+Jakaria The new one last year is not related to the first 2!!!!
How is dark below bad
Its overpriced for how much content it came with...
Oh ok
+darkstar 1651 not really cuz it came with:
1. New Raid
2. Weapons you wanted to get
3. 2 New exotic weapons that are currently not to bad
4. A bunch of new exotic armour
5. New Storyline
6. New vendor
7. 2 New strikes
So no I think this dark Below dlc is not worth the price they charged.
ya it's pretty cool
I haven't watched it yet... but is train simulator on the list?
Well... I was right
+Jakub M Yeah, it was...and I'm not blaming them for that judgement.
Fallout 4 - Season Pass
automatron, far harbor and nukaworld were great. The settlement dlcs sucked though.
Ghost khiz. Not all the vault tec one was one of my fave dlcs in the game
After the Price rise?
Harry S. Plinkett meh, i got pipboy edition (but it cant hold my s7.)
Everything but the first one and the workshop one were pretty good.
There should at least be an honorable for the weapons in Team Fortress 2. Seriously, Valve expects you to pay 6 bucks for a weapon from the Mann Co. Store that costs five cents on the community market.
+Mitch L (Mitten) They are not dlc. You can get EVERY weapon for free, and its pretty easy.
NIKENITIUS That's exactly why it's stupid
It's a free game and the weapons are totally optional, they have no real effect on gameplay. And as you stated you can get them really cheap on the market place so there is no issue
Tell me more about how paying for weapons inside a FREE game is bad. Devs get supported just how exactly? With the weapon dlc.
From Ashes wasn't preorder DLC. It was included in all retail copies. It was a single player equivalent of an online pass, meant to deter used sales.
I think the Batman Arkham Knight season pass deserves to be there
Exactly overpriced DLC for just skins and 15 minute missions.
+Zahib Akhtar 15 minutes??? Damn dude, you really milked those 10 minutes DLC.
+Zahib Akhtar 10/10
+Zahib Akhtar "overpriced dlc" most of them cost $2 cheapskate
+danny dircio And Batgirl DLC as well
Horse Armor>The Shivering Isles
horse armor = worst dlc ever
shivering isles = best dlc ever
And just like Sheogorath, my friend, it appears you have lost your mind.
Horse armour awesome
Wait... shivering isles dlc was awesome, I loved it!
7:39 i got a dlc for saints row 4 kind of like that you had to fight a sex lord and blend in to the sex slave club thing its weird
+ dildo and anal bead tanks cars and planes its gorse
+Selim Durmishi (DutchDragon) they made a dlc for Mario brothers U. it's called super Luigi bros U. Damn that game is fuckn hard.
I was actually thinking about getting it too, but after thinking about it, it's a little iffy.
+R. DeMora the companies need the money though. it aint enough to just sell the game itself. they don't get all the money they make off sales.
+Alex Davis I got mine included with some vault-boy socks from Best Buy, so I guess I can't really say I'm disappointed since I did get some vault-boy socks.
I am speechless to see people play that shitty train simulator
Different strokes for different folks. That said, the amount of DLC for that game is breathtaking.
Fidda Gracepaws Why?
For third strike, it was either the color palettes or paying to unlock Gill... which you can unlock by beating the game with everyone
From Ashes was awesome! Javik had tons of fun commentary for the game!
Heh even watchmojo knows that konami sucks.
And are huge junks right now
+Jossy FTW All boils down to whether or not you enjoy pachinko...
That moments you remember
The crypt has jumpscares
At the time of this writing, April 19, 2016, the total cost of DLC for Train Simulator is $5,408.39 with one item on sale. That would be 261 individual DLC "packs."
Cough* Cough* Battlefront* Cough*
No dulce yet
Dulce?
+Jimmy John Battlefront 2(with some mods) is a hell of a lot more valuable than Battlefront. Why do so many devs feel that outdated games gameplay wouldn't be fun anymore? If they just remade BF2 and gave it a graphical, AI and battle-scale overhaul(like BF3 was going to do) it would have been game of the year without having to invent an entirely new(poorly designed) game.
No one values the classics anymore.
cough* cough* every cod game after mw3* cough*
+z123zocker im not a fan of the new battlefront
+Jacob Bermudez That's a huge exaggeration.
I personally liked dark below but ok.....
It's not about liking the game it's about DLC that's not worth it/over priced
I know but it wasn't overpriced I payed $30 for dark below and house of wolves so it was priced pretty well
same
Its good but its only good with the taken king
Well everyone who got TTK and RoI now have the DB as the 390 raids are out but still the DLC to start was never overpriced and had hours of playtime £20 for around 100 hours of playtime if fantastic!
I think they need to update this list especially after the whole loot box fiasco from Star Wars Battlefront II (EA).
assassin's creed 2 MAIN STORY as DLC
Gta v: pay 20$ for nudity and the ability to kill innocent civilians.
You can kill civs in GTA anyway
+Duncan Kirstein That's not DLC
+Jamie Murphy I think he made an example what DLC will end up beeing in the next years....
Nudity and murder was already in the game, there's no DLC for that.
+LM8522 Perhaps from someone like EA, but not Rockstar. They've been pretty solid.
+SMC Clan Yeah, since Javik is crew member players can take him almost anywhere.
The mission itself is bit short, but still fun.
+SMC Clan The problem isn't, that the DLC is bad. People despise the fact, that EA took a character, that should be a vital part of the story and ripped it out for a cash grab. If Javik was part of the core game, he could've been utilized better as a part of the main plot.
Hangman108
I agree, Javik was a MAJOR character in the game, since he is a Prothean, and you have been hearing about the Protheans from the beginning/Mass Effect 1 as a mystical and ancient, extinct race.
Where is cod ghost season pass
i didn't think that dark below was that bad...
Anything to make it better
No it's that destiney is literally an unsatisfying four minute game unless you poor 500 dollars into it, and even then it is still not that fun
They also had the problem of putting core features there since release behind a paywall when TTK came out.....Now,i have the game plus all the dlcs, but it still gets really lame some times
I agree i liked the dark below
Pretzel the main issue is that the dark below was pretty much complete before destiny launched.
That means it was cut from the base game for the purpose of selling it (and house of wolves as well) as dlc.
All dlc is crap. Miss the days where you played the game or used cheatcodes to get extras
I want to make a game like that so bad.
I remember that like Tom from toonami in sly 2 band of theives or when wampas kill people with comic pictures like pow in swbf2 for ps2
no u
There's also the Pheremone Z DLC for Gal*Gun: Double Peace. It's a piece of $90 DLC that adds an in-game item that allows you to see through girls' clothes. Yeah, released long after this list, but still.
Did you notice how Nintendo doesn't rip you off like this?
+greenrobot5 aside from amiibos yes
Amiibos are not mandatory in any game
greenrobot5 but people will still say "But it still gives you content therefore its a ripoff"
Neither is Horse Armour or easy fatalities but they're still a rip. Amiibo content is more of a ripoff cause its part of the game as they sold it to you. Its just a new form of that sane on disc DLC we all gave Capcom shit for back in SF4.
+AtticusSP You still get a nice figurine so there is that
Why do I watch this fucking channel
Because you do
+Johnny Rico Why are you even on here, purely to complain? I truthfully gave up on them a while ago, but every so often they make a video that interested me(This one)
What about the expensive mounts and gear in WoW?
Dead Or fucking alive 5 have 2 season pass if not 3 by now and it cost 92.99$ per pass and it all just give you costumes and a new character that is it-.-
So lets count them all down.
3 season pass 92.99 each and the main game 39.99$ wow i mean my god.
+Sony “Is” God I know right its awesome 319.00 just for one game lol.
+Sony “Is” God BOUNCY BOOBS: the game.
u forgot the DOA5U content pack that unlocks the disc locked costumes. another $93.
Edgar Montealvo oh god
#10
As in... 1.99 or 199?
1.99
+Nick Tuskey Yeah just 1.99. Personally I don't get what all the fuss is about. I get that it's not worth the money but still that money's 2 bucks.
+Nick Tuskey Nobody understod this
It means all the dlc or 1
1.99$
oblivion doesnt deserve to be on this list
+Sir Raimo ikr dead or alive 5 do however 92.99$ per season pass there are 3 of them and the main game 39.99$ wow
+Jimmy Bergman who give a flying fuck?
The Horse Armor DLC was idiotic, but they could've mentioned that the very same game had stuff like Shivering Isles.
Jimmy Bergman I'll take hell any day man
+Jimmy Bergman there is no proof God exists, God didn't create men. Men created God.
What about in the Borderlands series you have to pay to continue leveling up and get rid of the level cap? And have to pay for additional playthroughs with the same character?
They could've put destiny dlc 1, 2 and 3 for honorable :/
The taken king was good. And the other two dlc weren't that bad either. I think people are blowing it out of proportion. I have enjoyed destiny through out this year and I can't wait to see what happens with it. I just think people disappointed themselves. They were expecting something game changing. When in fact it was never going to be.
You see I shouldn't have to fucking pay for dlc after I bought the game just to get a complete story in an already repetitive as shit game.
+David Wirtley Ok i understand what you mean by saying destiny is repetitive but what game isnt
MrRageasaurus a lot of games lol but what i mean is 90% of the missions are basically hoard missions and you spawn in the same looking place for most of the game
David Wirtley thats what a lot of games are go here and kill a bunch of guys then leave rinse and repeat
