    Hey Dilmer :) Love the videos.. you talk so fast i have to watch it a few times to get to grips with it ahha but very detailed and things usually work out for me :D So thanks for that!!! Just a question.. maybe you have a tutorial somewhere for it or know of one.. I am trying to create an AR app that incorporates a scan i created in the geospatial browser. I wanted to overlay stuff on to buildings that I scan or rooms. I dont know how to get the scan i done into my unity project :O Any help or advice would be amazing. Keep up the great vidz ;)

    I love your videos thank you for always crushing it!!! Small ask: can you please lower your audio input to prevent the audio clipping? I noticed this has happened in a couple recent videos. thank you Dilmer !

      Wow thanks for your feedback, do you have a specific example perhaps the minute and second? I like to listen to it to see exactly how to improve it.

      @@dilmerv actually its from start till end. it kind of sounds like when you listen to the radio and the signal is not very clear. it happens because you set the gain of your microphone preamp too high. other than that: top video!

      Also if you want you voice to remain clear and at consistent level look into Compressor, EQ & Limiting. And try speak clearly. Many thanks for all for videos so far 🙌

    Hey Dilmer, I was wondering if the tracking on this is better than AR foundation? Like is it the same sort of thing with more features? Or is it better

      Under the hood it uses a lot of the features from ARKit and ARCore, however some of the features such as Meshing on Android are possible because of their own algorithms, so I would say it does have a lot more features than AR Foundation, I wouldn't say is better but it opens the opportunity to solve different use cases.

    Dilmer, just like you, at 4:46 I notice significant drift with just two plain cubes on-screen! I have similar results in my tests. This is definitely not what you'd see in a similar ARFoundation app. So I wonder if the ARDK is just a more feature-rich Developer Kit but not as stable as anyone would like it to be. What's your opinion on this after watching all the relevant demos at the Summit?

    Hi Dilmer! Love the content on this. I’m currently working on a location based ar experience and I wondered if it’s possible to use lightship for this? The locations aren’t included in the VPS api, so I’m wondering if it’s possible or not!

      Hi James, you could look into private VPS locations which can give you some of the data you need to implement a location based implementation, I recommend joining Lightship ARDK discord as there are many people asking similar questions there, thank you for your feedback.

    Dilmer is there a way to save the meshes in an app so that the user doesn't have to scan their rooms everytime ? I know Lightship has VPS for public places... but what are some solutions if you wanted your users to be able to save their rooms and localize and autoload private scenes in their homes so that they don't have to scan everytime they open the app? thnx!

      In my region Public version not available. So right now I am trying to build a demo using private cloud on ios which will be able to spawn images/ videos ( VPS)

    Hi Dilmer, query. I have been studying Unity for 2 years with google arcore for RA. I have possibilities to offer development services to third parties and end users. Always work with the personal version of Unity. I don't see how the Unity license applies to these types of services that are not published games. Could you guide me? Thank you very much and your videos are excellent.

      Hello Diego and thanks for your question and nice message.
      My understanding is that Unity free license has an earning cap of 100K within 12 months regardless of what type of business you are on (games, apps, tools, etc) once you hit that milestone then you need to upgrade.
      However if you are providing services to a company with your free license and they publish a game which makes more than the limits then yes you do need to upgrade.

      Not currently, there is a tool called “Needle Tools” which is perfect for that and free needle.tools

    Cheers for the content! When I run the project it automatically comes up with "Session Initialized: Failed" at the top. It doesn't try to localise? Any ideas what might be happening?

      @@dilmerv Yes, and then I added it under ARDKExamples > Resources > ARDK > Ardk Auth Config. It literally fails as soon as opening the app.

    does anyone have a video/tutorial on what to do after you've scanned the area through the wayfarer app and how to upload it into unity and create an AR app that recognizes that scan in real time? in this video he scanned his room through the wayfarer app, but never uses it or uploads it to their servers.

      Unfortunately no, this is only supported on mobile at this point with Unity, you could look into VPS with the 8thWall which is the closest you will get to WebGL.

      Yes you can use it without problems with private scans, the issue in Mexico and countries where they is not coverage is just for public locations, but during development you can scan any area and set it as private by using the Wayfarer App.
