- Thursday April 4th, 2024. ESK8CON Red Rocks Ride. Pretty amazing route and scenery. The wind was howling and crashes were observed but everybody made it through the day. Mochi hopefully enjoyed himself and I'm happy to say the goggles worked and prevented any dust from entering his eyeballs. Race qualifiers tomorrow, looking forward to ditching the carrier and shredding the track!
You've inspired me to strive to include my dog Nina next year. Bringing her + a dismantled 1-wheel cargo trailer (she's the size of a big cat) should be a lot easier than flying with a suitcase full of batteries. The Strat hotel was dog-friendly, I saw a parade of traveling dogs, missed her terribly. Nina rolls here this Summer, there for esk8con 2025!
