- Orthodox Christian hymn for the feast of the Offering of the Lord that is celebrated on 2nd February. It is known also as the Entrance of the Lord to the Temple or Candlemas.

Христос Бог наш,
просвјешчајај сушчија во тмје:
веселисја и ти старче праведниј,
пријемиј, во објатија Свободитеља душ наших,

Rejoice, O Virgin Theotokos, full of grace,
for from thee arose the Sun of justice,
Christ our God,
lighting those who are in darkness.
Rejoice and be glad, O righteous old man,
carrying in thine arms the Deliverer of our souls,
Who granteth us Resurrection.
Χαίρε κεχαριτωμένη Θεοτόκε Παρθένε
εκ σου γαρ ανέτειλεν ο Ήλιος της δικαιοσύνης,
Χριστός ο Θεός ημών,
φωτίζων τους εν σκότει.
Ευφραίνου και συ Πρεσβύτα δίκαιε, δεξάμενος εν αγκάλαις,

Bucură-te, Ceea ce eşti Plină de har, Născătoare de Dumnezeu Fecioară;
că din tine a Răsărit Soarele dreptăţii,

luminând pe cei dintru întuneric.
Veseleşte-te şi tu, bătrânule drepte,
cel ce ai primit în braţe pe Izbăvitorul sufletelor noastre,

I am sad that the Poles use simple Kiev/Obikhod chant... The Style is only nice when it gets listeneable and likeable... Recitativo is just for responsive chant or for what it's named for, recitation/reading
