Coronado. That's the model name of a popular semi-truck tractor. The Freightliner Coronado. Coincidence! 😂
Ah yes, it is here. Wonderful video!
I think my only gripe with these is the remotes. I think they’re a bit clunky for the price point, but I’m sure over time they’ll be improved. That’s how I felt in January when we were able to actually USE their fans on the display. I enjoy the return to six blades as well, nice to see another addition.
These remotes are a vast improvement over the initial product launch that just used the same basic one everybody has used. I will take any level of diversification and customization beyond printing the logo on those basic remotes. Agreed, though, I think it will all streamline over time especially if they bring in a wall option (which I think they do need). It's going to be hard for anybody to beat Hinkley HIRO for me, that entire system is so smart and good.
Amazing!
For some reason though, I thought these did beep whenever a button was pressed in the remote. Plenty of air movement happening at such a low noise level is genuinely impressive.
Unrelated question: Are those two Originals on the display going to stay the same or are they getting replaced with something else for this year's NCFD?
Yeah the airflow is crazy for how quiet it is. I believe at least some of the samples at Lightovation beeped, I think I posted a story with Hugo starting up that had a beep. But I can't find anything about audio feedback for this model now.
There is some hinting in the next vlog about that area of the display, and actually some other adjacent rearranging. In the end the silver Original will still be on display to hold oil bath representation, but there will be reformatting of the entire section.
Clarification: I believe the silver Original has been in place since 2021. Is it typical for new products to be displayed three consecutive years? (The Morpheus is certainly an exception in this case.)
Display of new products depends. For awhile the focus was maintaining brand presence regardless of time, which is why the Morpheus lasted so long because I used all my other MF products up until the Aura in-application. But now I work with more brands than I can really display at once, so I lean toward using as many of the latest products I've received as I can. In this case, the silver Original is holding it down for oil bath, but that fan is also particularly special to me in what it represented, kind of being a full circle moment in what I get to do. It's one that I just enjoy having up. I also don't really want to have to box it up again, given the oil bath aspect, so who knows how long it'll be up for. Everything has its own particular reasoning.
That completely makes sense. I really totally went into a horrendous mindset of looking at it. Now that I think about it, the silver Original has a place to hold. I am really looking forward to see the completion of the display.
Now WHY is the ceiling fan industry throwing off the emperor’s groove?
Is theres any Kuzco fan using a chain? im curious…
Kuzco just launched a new selection of more builder-oriented models that have pull chain options: kuzcolighting.com/product/eriksoncf78752-nlp/
Kuzco definitely has some good performing beasts
