You made it Queen.
Emotional bangers like Nami asking for help, and the walk to Arlong Park are what define the series. This is what OP is all about.
This is the Way.
@@Nastyn1nja808 You do not know da wey. I will show you da wey. Da wey...of da KEEENG! Who was also a Pirate....
@@josephgatts1679 the Goat with the Coat Shows us the way Monkey D!!!!!!!!!!
I’d say it’s part of what One Piece is. It’s mainly adventure
Fucking hell this still hits like a truck. I dont know why my entire town simultaneously starts dicing onions every time this episode comes on, its a mystery.
Oh boy here we go, the emotional rollercoaster
I for one cannot wait for her reaction of chopper's backstory

This ride is just beginning lol
Welcome to
The World Of One Piece
Tissues not included
🤣😂😭😭😩
3 episodes, 3 times broken down, the ocean is a salty place, but so is the puddle I have created. I've seen these scenes a dozen times and it still hits me every dang time.
new head cannon that 50% of the one piece ocean is made of the fandom’s tears
Oh no u used head cannon how far in this rabit hole are u my nakama@GnatGames
Episode 37 is the big one to me. If by the end of 37 you don't love this show, then you probably won't love it. The episode usually starts with you starting to dislike Luffy, but by the end you'd follow him into hell with a smile on your face.
"Luffy, help me" always has me in tears, no matter how many times I see it. And the walk to Arlong Park always gets me hyped.
The live action made some small changes that really took away from the emotional impact of all this, so don't stress about it hitting you harder. The only reason to avoid it as someone who is watching the anime is that there's one plot thread in the live action that does not show up in the anime for a few hundred episodes, so the live action does spoil that one secret.
Yep
"... but by the end you'd follow him into hell with a smile on your face."
That is one of the most accurate statements I have seen in some time.
Yeah, they really fucked up this part. The villagers knowing but pretending, nami faking she's fine because she doesn't want all of them to die, the villagers telling her it's ok, they were just hanging on because she still had hope... ALL of that removed from the live action... If you don't have time to do that.... remove all the fucking marine bullshit.
This is exactly how I feel. I tell anyone who might be interested to give it 40 episodes for this reason. It sounds like a huge investment, but it is definitely THE defining moment that gets you saying "Yeah, I get it now."
I liked one piece before ep 37 but i wasnt really like that hooked yet. But ep 37, especially the nami moment, made me fall in love with the show
Please!
You finally made it! The breakdown was the moment I was waiting for! It’s one of my favorite emotional moments. The part that really pulls it together for me though is Luffy gave Nami his hat. That to me shows that he cares more for Nami, who he still barely knows at this point, more than his most treasured possession. Never fails to make me cry.
that Nami ''Help me" scene is still one of the best scenes in one piece till this day
PLEASE. Not gonna lie if I'm honest I was not really touched by One Piece before this personally but this is just too real. Sadistic psychopath and/or their following go to someone else's homes and destroys their lives for generations. History of human.
I fucking love this. The Baratie Backstory's grit and desperation is what intrigued me the most, and this arc reeled me in, hook line and sinker. The emotional buildups and payoffs are absolutely supreme, it's so imaginative, and the world building is top class, essentially the best in existence :D.
Oda is a master at pulling at your heart strings. The story is amazing and the music pushes it over the top. I’ve seen these episodes almost a decade ago but watching you experience them for the first time warms my heart. I’m getting teary eyed with you!
Maybe one day, decades from now, I'll be able to see this scene (and many other OP scenes) without crying.
As a fan of One Piece, you only scratched the surface of the story
23:55 Gen's her dad ❤ I know I'm just stating the obvious but that was such a touching moment. Just like a dad saying
"Dad's here and I'm gonna make it all better"
11:26 Remember we started crying for dog food? Yeah I miss that.
QueenBlaze I feel ur pain 😔😔😔 one piece will mess up with ur feelings smmmh
Don't worry about the live action version of these events. This is where it's at right here, the OG. This is peak One Piece emotion and character development that the live action just wasn't able to replicate. I know Netflix is really trying to sell the show now, and they're out in full force advertising and convincing normies to see it, but when I tried to watch it, all I wanted to do was go back and watch the OG. You just don't get hit with that emotion bomb like you do here. And that voice acting... I dunno if any voice acting has hit me like that, anywhere.
I love your reactions, your edits, and the way you feel. I love One Piece, and you learn to love each other because we feel this pain as a family. The tears make the smiles feel better.
Arlong Park is what makes you a OP fan. If you aren't about it by this point you never will be. I remember getting to this episode and knowing I was going to be around till the end.
No one can resist the Nami's part 😂😂
Please!!!!
How much did I cried watching this years ago... Am I crying again even after watching others reactions? But of course I am.
Whenever I introduce this series to my friends, this is the point where I tell them to watch until, and if they're into the show by now, they should keep going, and if not, all good it's just not for them.
How awful that Nami felt responsible for the death of Bellemere as a child and then also took responsibility for all the villagers' lives. I can't imagine what that does to a person.
There YOU go girl. This series is fate to get better and better. LETS GOOOOOO
Lady's and gentlemen, we got her.
Lmao. Once they make it to Arlong Park theres no going back.
Wait until you see Arlong’s origin story in a few hundred episodes!
Honestly, these scenes never gets any easier to watch 😭
Not gonna lie this reaction almost got me too. This was the ep where I decided I’m with this series to the end. Still exceptional storytelling after all these decades. Hope you enjoy the rest.
Im ngl, this is the momment i fell in love with the series
Man, i cant watch these episodes without tearing up.
This is when I fell in love with one piece
Almost all of the straw hats had to be tough to survive. Usopp is the exception. Aside from getting orphaned, he lived his whole life on a peaceful island until Kuro's crew attacked.
That's why he's so much more scared than the rest.
Ah damn.... Never made it this far when I was younger and now that Ive seen it, it gets you watching the Arlong background with Nami and co.
26:58 You are absolutely correct💯
Blaze. You are allot more wiser than you give your self credit for. I'm older than you by 8 years and I find you to be wiser than me. May God bless you and your family and never hold back when you feel compelled to say something. You're a really good person and good people are becoming a scarce commodity these days.
Just came across your reactions, amazing I must say!! Subbed from another anime reactor!!😁
I'm just enjoying your journey.... this gets me every time i rewatch it
I told u it was gon et DEEP & emo asf.... and this is only the beginning of the emotional rollercoaster that is one one piece. Welcome to the club!😍
It’s okay we all cried through this
Arlong Park is still one of the best arcs in One Piece imo.
Incredible video😊, make sure you buy enough tissue when we get to the Grand line cause you’re right the villains get more evil
Are you ready to start the playlist of One Piece making you cry yet cause it's honestly enivatible, just means Oda is a genius writer.
12:35 25:32 😂😂😂😂😂
Glad I got recommended this channel ❤
Yes I’m excited to watch your journey subscribed
And the thing is is that neither Luffy nor Zoro needed to know Nami’s backstory.
25:15
I think it was around.... Riiight here when Luffy became my favorite anime protagonist.
I've seen this the Nami flashback and the "Help me" scene so many damn times... And no matter how much I prepare myself, my eyes always tear up.
There is something absolutely magical about the scene with her and Luffy. It's a Rollercoaster of emotion, from feeling hatred for Arlong and everything he's done, heartbreak for Nami as she desperately refuses help, then on verge of tears when she finally asks Luffy to help her... A brief moment of silence when he gives his treasure to her for safe keeping... And then, when he screams "OF COURSE I WILL!!!" that's it, you know Luffy is ready to raise some hell, it's going to be amazingAND WHY CAN'T I STOP CRYING?!?!
The Walk to Arlong Park is when I fell in love with One Piece👌👍❤️
Hi!!!! I came here for twitter! I love love your reactions, i cant wait to see this journey with you 🎉
Heyyy! Also WELCOME!
she made it ! this is a point of no return where you become a nakama!
Aw jeez I knew you were getting to this part queen, but watching it again was harder than I thought
10:06 famous last words
Now you just hit that Doug reference
I like how your thinking through the series and feeling so much. The way you said Kaya you got a gun?
More moments in one piece like this which is epic you will know now why still 1000 episode we getting hype
I rewatched one piece cause I knew the live action wasn't going to do nami's story justice
Aaand i cried again 😅😢😢
This is always the point where everyone becomes a true one piece fan
I must have watched this a dozen times by now and It still destroys me.
Oh hell if you going on the One Piece adventure I gotta sub! Your gonna be on one helluva ride!
You fought hard but the tears won 12:36 🤣🤣
Now it's just 1000 more episodes of this greatness remaining ;D
Best reaction Ive seen from this episode 😤……….
We got another one hooked boys. Lets pack it in :)
"I'm sure there are things that made them hard." Yup.
The next saga you’ll love
13:09 oh lord and she ain't even made it to the grand line yet. It gets so much worse 🥺
as you get through the latter parts of one piece, you'll notice Oda uses each different species as representation of races. the fishmen i believe are the blacks...you wont want to hear it now because you dont know their story, but you'll understand it later
Edit: Arlong and them are just the bad apples of the bunch
It's ok, you can break down. Most fans do, that's why we're fans :).
Luffy putting the straw hat on nami gonna hit the soul everytime
This show can turn you into a baby.
One Piece is just too powerful, it's really hard to hold the tears even knowing everything 😢
IM SO LATE FROM WORK BUT LEZZZZ GOOOOO!!! ITS BLAZE TIME!!!
Ahhhh yessss here we go.
We all been there😂wait til u hear senor pink backstory and sanjis lowkey
now i got ta cut ya 🤣
Welcome to the most tragic backstory for this arc (you could argue sanji's is worst). This is the moment most fans say to watch up to to see if you'll like One Piece. It's definitely a lot to take in, and I think it says a lot about the writing for the show. As always thanks for the episode, have a good day!
People say that she can just lie but arlong would be in coco village and saw them in the end. If she can't pay for them then Arlong would immediately k* nojiko and nami once he found out
I hope you have been enjoying your journey, take your time, and prepare for an adventure that will BREAK you, luv u
in live action I was disappointed because that scene which Luffy gives his hat to Nami not hit that hard as anime, this is the episode which hooked me up to One Piece
Wait till you see the backstory of the following crews
I just realized they use the sunflower/lion thing later on. Might just be a coincidence though
Spoiler:
14:26 I love that she says this about Nami not think about what could have made Arlong evil 😈
The less saddest backstories in one piece
Queen
one piece is a happy pirate adventure show right guys? lol
this scene gets me everytime 😂
*hug*
One Piece. That silly cartoon for kids. So goofy and light hearted.
THIS.
Kleenex company living good
one peak
This is the point of no return
2:02
The way she is holding back 11:31 😥
Don't worry there is like a handful of episodes until you get another backstory... should be okay for a bit.
You'll get some backstory on the arlong pirates in about 500 episodes
You can’t watch episode 37 and tell me this ain’t a western!
Luffy’s “Now I got to Cut ya” whenever he gets angry has to be a recurring thing in the reactions cuz omg 😂😂😂
Absolutely hilarious😂
Oh that running gag would hit such a satisfying peak at episode 898.
This is my first time seeing it I'm gonna go back and watch all the reactions now.
You made them cry. Nothing can save you now.
@@Nastyn1nja808lol same
Nami backstory always makes me cry... and i've watched it countless times these last ten years!
There it is.
Nami asking Luffy for help is still one of the most iconic, beloved scenes in the whole series. That is the scene everyone was waiting for. The scene that will tell you whether you're along for the ride or not.
-- arlong for the ride or not
And the asskicking delivered afterwards convinces most who weren't along for the tearjerker xD.
I didn't bother warning with spoilers, because I'm assuming everyone knows that an asskicking always follows this xD. It's essentially the only outcome to a story that's tauted as the best piece of fiction in existence right now.
This is the scene of "No Return" for most first watchers. Once you get to this point, you gotta watch the rest of the series.
Honestly, any time you'd be a little harsh about Nami, I'd just smile to myself, because i knew this arc was coming. And I just couldn't wait for you to get here and finally get all the whys about Nami being how she is, and how she presents herself.
Asking for help is the hardest thing to do when you are alone.
But its the first step to not be alone
Every time I see you uploaded another One Piece reaction I click instantly, please keep these going!
Will do!
