The folks involved with that lift made it look easy, great job to the entire team! I’m not that experienced with large cranes like this and with all the factors involved I have a few questions if someone wouldn’t mind educating me. I see a lot of people around and I understand the crane operator has the bulk of the responsibility but who is ultimately in charge of the entire operation? Does the crane operator look to a specific individual for hand signals? It seems like there are numerous people milling around in close proximity to the area of where the crane being lifted could potentially fall and cause serious injury. Shouldn’t there be exclusion zones or barriers that would prevent people from being close to the fall zone? Thanks in advance for any pointers!
...now by Demag brand acquisition by Tadano gruop, I might reconsider my reply... This is no liebherr yet, it may become later! Since this specific crane was once sold as a demag. Then became a terex. Then Demag again. And now its included in Tadano lineup Who knows what comes next? Liebherr maybe!!!
That is some hazardous job. But if you know the operating process it is safe to do your duty. I have some video downloaded to my channel kindly check for more knowledge about crane
Did an adult review this video prior to release? Why, oh why, the horrible intrusive music? This is pitiful and barely tolerable. You just might ponder changing your format to something that focuses more on educating the public. Best of luck, but this is terrible.

Alexander you are right, mobile crane they highly depends on their outrigger and counter weight for max lifting as for this crane you can't add counter weight.
Yeah u rite bro..but some other said 80t..this is model of 160ton crane kato..haha..true load off this crane around 70-80t something..without counterweight..

Thanks a lot for video! But large crane is not Liebherr! It is Terex Demag AC250-1!

That was pretty straight forward ,just a matter of a 90 degree swing. Didn't have to go out any distance with that wight.

4 axle crane not 160 ton
Go do your homework NK1600 Kato crane is 160ton. This is an old model if i not wrong. During the 90s.
160ton is lifting capacity,

must lock out rigger beams in tubes or they can pull out. Only small HYD cylinder holds them in. This happens alot.
Look at 0.28 NK-1600..means 160ton..search google what means of..this is old model of kato crane..

Kato crane must be of 60 Te capacity as it is having only 4 axles, it should be of min. 6 or more axles.as the wt os 160 te. Bogus
