Why does Partas luxury bus to San Juan accept passengers midway? - Feb 2020

Tried the Partas Luxury bus going to San Juan, La Union from their Cubao terminal. This is a 26-seater bus which includes a toilet. Each seat includes its own video console where one can charge one's gadgets via USB, watch movies, play games, etc. WiFi was available but actual service wasn't all that great.
Was under the mistaken impression that this was a non-stop bus, but then we had a 20-minute pit stop in Arnes bus stop in Sison, Pangasinan after getting out of the TPLEX expressway. I didn't eat, but was told food wasn't great and cold too.
What was most surprising and a little alarming was that we picked up passengers along the way. There were no available seats, and so these 6 guys either sat on one of the low stools along the center aisle from where I was seated until the back. Two guys chose to sit by the stairs leading down to the toilet. It was enough to detract anyone from getting up to use the loo. When a few passengers vacated the double seats, 3 of the guys made do and sat together.

nagssakay ang partas @ midway cuz thats public service remember ang may ari ng partas ay governor for the longest time at xempre hndi ka mmhalin ng tao at ang bus mo kung ayaw mong magsakay☝️ laging ittanong sau ng bus crew nila kung gusto mong nkatayo or center seat pag puno na po ang bus nsa u na kung payag k or not kung gusto mong mkauwi agad tiis pogi/ganda k muna pansamantagal😅

There are two reasons why they pick up passengers along the way even there is no seat available..1. Most common is passengers are so desperate to ride so they take their chances. Either stand up or center seat. Just to get home. Conductors usually ask them if they are willing to stand up or seat along the isle before they climb the stairs. And 2 drivers and conductors has a quota or sales target per trip. I do mostly sit infront so I can hear the stories of drivers, conductors. It's normal. What is more alarming is Metro Manila's buses. Rude conductors (plus modus buo pera teka sukli galit later), mas maluwang pa ang sardinas kaysa sa bus sa Metro haha..Just saying.

sometimes its good of having stop overs .. some passengers might get dizzy .. and also a little breaktime of the bus driver ..

Official stop over nila talaga yang sa Sison, Pangasinan. Not unless gusto nyo walang stop over. Hindi din siguro papayag ibang passengers nyan hirap nun. Haba ng byahe at walang makainan along TPLEX at SCTEX.

Ang premium buses ng iba walang stopover talaga. Mas mahal ang bayad kasi gamit ang expressway, maluwag ang mga upuan, may sariling CR na pwedeng gamitin, at may kasamang tubig at snack.

Kaya di ako sumasakay ng Partas. Mapa regular o Deluxe buses. Mahal ang pamasahe tapos ang labas ng bus ay sa SCTEX Concepcion / TPLEX Gerona / TPLEX Carmen. Kapag deluxe may stop at wala man lang libreng biskwit lang o tubig

Sa Dominion kasi La Union ako umuuwi kaya kahit anong bus line OKs lang. Mura kasi at medyo shorter travel time though yung interval matagal

@@markios5924 maganda din sa dominion tabi lang ni mcdo not sure kung tabi din ni burger king. Pwede makiusap sa crew ni dominion na pahintay lang saglit. Hassle lang kasi pag yung vip nila noon exit na ng tplex binalonan yata yun wala ka na makakainan paglabas. Mura na kaso interval lang talaga ng vip class nila matagal.
