I've had one of them for two years now and love it.

My mini 1300 comes with 3 dummy loads. I cannot tell which one is which. Any advice on how to tell which is which? Thanks for the video

I just used the multimeter to see which was open circuit, which was low impedance and which was 50 ohms

I seen the Mini1300 online but have not watched any reviews on it but it has a good interface screen. Something doesn't look right in the results though. Can you retest it with something else John?

hmmm - dunno - my test gear is limited. I have to set a benchmark somewhere where I can state (and prove) that something is as described - the dummy load - is it right? The Mini1300, it that right?

I have a cunning plan. I will run the tests again - against the calibration component - the 50 ohm - it should flat line through the whole frequency range, right?

@@VK1JTX I would expect a 50 ohm load should be consistent through the bands but I'm no expert, haha.
I have a NanoVNA-F-2 if I remember correctly. You are welcome to borrow it if you like. It's brand new and I haven't used it yet as I haven't got anything to test yet. Lol
Email me if you wish to try it out John. 🍻🤠

@@DonzLockz Hey Don - I have done further experimenting this morning. Cables and connectors introduce varying results. I am surprised at the number of cables I have that I thought were 'good' are, in fact, not good.

@@VK1JTX wow, now you know. Lol
I didn't suspect that, maybe they are a bit fragile.🤷‍♂️

Can you use radio while this is connected ?

It looks like a poor, lower bandwith imitation of the NanoVNA for 2 or 3 times the price. The Chinese can't even copy something without making it worse. But when they make it worse, yet charge much more for it it becomes laughable.

It has much better friendly ham build firmware. It makes it much easier for the average ham to use.
