If you’re gonna play this song on a 6 string it would probably have to be on a baritone guitar because those guitars can go to low tunings such as drop G or drop F. But, if you have a regular 6 string I don’t think it would he able to tune that low. Hope that helps.

how do you achieve that awesome sound with the behind the nut strumming?
Just strum the strings 4-1 behind the nut with a distorted tone and you should be able to pull off that sound.

Standard tuning?
Drop G. You can only get drop G on a 6 string if you have a baritone guitar. But, normally it's a 7 string tuning
