Moved from Baltimore to the "Jungles " housing projects Marin City CA(North Bay) when he was 15. His mom was a Panther(Panthers originated in Oakland) so he spent a lot of time in Oakland.
In numerous interviews he has said he got put on game by Oakland and the Bay Area.
