- Goa is a home that’s always sustained and comforted her people and those that visit her. A place that’s rich in stories, beautiful beaches and lush greens, her beauty has long attracted the eyes of many, making her top ‘the perfect getaway list’.
But, beauty sometimes comes at a price. Uprooted trees, hills stripped naked, constructions replacing fields, are all costing her, her well-being.
In this visual poetry, Shyna Furtado @shynacrepe, a poet from Goa, offers two sides of looking at the state, just like a two-sided coin, posing the question ‘Can we afford to choose one side of the story?’
