absolutely awesome!...quick question; what is the tool you're using to 'spread' the paint? It doesn't look like a catalyst wedge but can't tell what it is
Hi Sandra. This is just so beautiful and I truly appreciate you sharing with us....thank you. May I ask...I found some brushes here in the U.S. but it says it's for chalk paint and or wax, would that be the right brushes? Also, do you prime your canvases?. Thank you so very much.
Thank you so much Norma. I don't know if these brushes work. I use brushes for acrylic paints, they are oval or round, but not long flat.... and use small brushes, 3 cm long. Yes, I prime the canvas first.
Thank you sooo much Sandra for getting back to me. Really appreciate it. It's fascinating to me that I can talk to someone so far away from me :)) and that person does actually gets back to you with advise :))))
@@AbstractRealART Oh, thank you!! I really want to try this! When I look at as a blur, it looks like a mountain sunrise, pine trees,, & shadows of pine trees
Charlie Abarca, Have you had any luck on Amazon? I’ve been looking foe them too. They’re being called Chalk or wax brushes, do we think those of the same things? they dont look exactly the same?
Do you add any medium to keep the paint wet? Or are these types of Acrylic (not familiar with that brand) more fluid and designed to not dry out as quick? Thank you!
It's a really nice painting. But, I wanted to ask about all the blues that you have in the centre of the painting. Now, please don't take this to heart as I'm only curious & not just that but starting out in acrylic painting so I wanted to know & understand. The shades of blues that you have on the canvas. Did it take you a long time to thin it out? I ask cause some of it just looks like it was just dumped on the canvas. As I said above nice work. I like it.☺
thank you Tanya...sorry, i speak not good english....i hope you understand... Please watch the video from the beginning, there you see how the colors come on the canvas. Apply with a spatula and brush the paint outwards before it dries.
Hi Sandra, this is so beautiful! In on of your other videos you had mentioned you add retarder so the paint stays wet longer. Do you already have it in your paints or do you put it on your canvas before you start painting? Thank you :)
HELLO SANDRA your lessons are captivating and inspiring. will you be ok if i try a few of your paintings myself. i know they will nowhere be as good as yours but if you sgree i would like to try. also pl answer my message in fb on your message board..thanks
@@AbstractRealART I definitely have to agree to Sandra on this. Ray Grimes videos are only 1 year old but Sandra had a video 4 years ago with the same technique.

Love this piece. One of my favorite color combinations - love the way you made the blue and orange work together without creating brown.

Sandra i love this. If doing a large piece can you continue on on another day, when paint is not as wet?
Thank you very much, better finish the picture immediately. There is no nice transition
@@AbstractRealART thankyou.
Do you use a medium in your paint or is it just acrylic paint?
I use a retarder so the paint stays wet longer
absolutely awesome!...quick question; what is the tool you're using to 'spread' the paint? It doesn't look like a catalyst wedge but can't tell what it is
thank you very much, it is a spatula
Hi dear 🙋🏻♀️ please would you tell me where to buy the spatula you use?
You can get it in any hardware store, but you can also take a credit card 😉
Muita Obra…….muito harmoniosa……..!
Muito obrigado
So beautiful
thank you Tina
Wonderful painting. Do you make your color thin or is it ready made available? The colors I buy in market are usually very thick in the tubes or jars.
Thank you very much, sir. The colour is straight from the bottle. Is better for painting if it is not too thin.
@@AbstractRealART many thanks
@@GamingDoodles007 You're welcome!
Genial 👍Welche Farben sind das genau ?
Vielen Dank Gaby…Acryl Farben und Marke ist zu Beginn des Videos zu sehen…
Sandra do you work on wet primed canvas or is it dry?
Always on dry. The brush is also dry
Could you please list the colors you used???

When I look at as a blur, it looks like a mountain sunrise, pine trees,, & shadows of pine trees
Are you paints pre mixed?
no, directly from the bottle
Does that mean they come with the retarder already? Thanks in advance.
Would you please show the brushes one by one. Can they be bought on Amazon. Can’t read the translations 🙂
i don't now... these are oval brushes...size 30, look here , www.boesner.ch/shop/pinsel/pinsel/oel-acryl/ovalpinsel

Thank you Sandra! :)
