Great video! And the 3 videos for the Major Arcana in your website, awesome, straight and narrow. Thank you a lot, Jeanne. Starting on the Minor Arcana! Thank you, my dear, love and light
Hello Jeanne! Thank you so much for posting a video with all the astrological and planetary relations to the cards! I've enjoyed that video so much! Take care and have a nice day xx
Thank you Adama for your clarification on the Hebrew letters and for your excellent question about "why no earth?" As I understand it, earth needs no "originator" because it's the natural manifestation of the powers of fire, water, and air as they work their way "down" the pathways on the Kabbalistic Tree. But/And, if the Tree is turned "upside down," earth is a reflection of all that came before/above it. The language is tricky, but I think you get the gist. Essentially, "as above so below."
Absolutely. Sometimes the angel on the Temperance card is called The Healing Angel.. the guidance that allows healing that takes place in its own time, at its own pace, and with its own rhythm and timetable.
Capricorn and Virgo are both earth signs, Capricorn is "ruler of the physical plane; "the Hermit is decidedly not interested in those concrete realities, being more tuned in to the spiritual world of meaning and purpose. There is the "intensity" commonality between Scorpio and the Devil card, but the Devil card specifically calls us to look at how wants and needs in the physical plane (note pentacle on forehead of The Devil) make us act less authentic and true to ourselves than we might.
@Passioned Angel-- thanks for being part of the Tarot Tips' community. I've got your question in line for the next video, should be out the end of July.
Those water card correlations are confusing, with each card expressing the water element in a different way. Additionally, different Tarot sources might offer different assignments than what I've proposed here, though I think what's here is a "classic" interpretation. If we think of the Moon as a embryonic "birthplace" it's easy to see its designation with Pisces rather than with the Chariot, which is "out in the world." You can think of the Charioteer as being motivated by the inner truths....
Hello again Jeanne! I was also wondering about the Hermit card. I always associated this card with the Capricorn because the Hermit is wise, has climbed at the top of the mountain and has withdrawn from the world..I can see some aspects of the Capricorn in the Devil card but I always felt like the Devil should be associated with Scorpio more..what do you think? Thank you again for an amazing video! Xx
Great video! Some Hebrew corrections: Water in Hebrew is Mayim, (מים) and the first letter's name is Mem (מ) and Fire is Esh (אש) in which the 2nd letter is Shin (ש). Not the first. How come there is no card for Earth? Adama (אדמה) Thanks for doing these!!!
...driven by the Cancerian values of personal truth.... the chariot as the outer manifestation of the inner reality. As far as Sagittarius, that one's tricky for a lot of us...if I think of that sign as the journeyer, the traveler to new realms, a quest-er, that helps me get a handle on the expansive "new worlds" aspect of the Temperance... especially when viewed as the mediator between the endings of the Death and the challenges of the Devil; i.e. Inner work requiring courage and expansion.
Thank you so much for considering my question, Jeanne. You are a true mentor to me! Bless xx
