You will be very welcome. There were about 40,000 runners this year in the combined 10km and marathon . I live in Sydney and my most wonderful memory of the Sydney 2000 Olympics was to be on the course seeing Naoko Takahashi win in a record time (2:23) that has stayed in place until this year when the Ethiopean runner Gurmesa won in 2hrs:21 minutes.
