Knives out is the low-budget pigsty studio made PUBGM clone that has the potential, but is lacking in developers putting effort in the game. It looks horrid. The maps are poorly designed. The gameplay is awkward. The sounds will confuse you. It has framerate issues. The game literally looks and sounds worse than a classic title like Standoff. That game manages to look crisp and really good without the performance issues that you'd expect it'll have. Knives out literally just has to do what Standoff2 has done graphically, redo its maps, improve rendering, gunplay, and sound.
I used to love knives out but i love pubg now because knives out optimization and language support are suck, the graphics is too bright and the animation is suck compared to pubg mobile.

pubg just has more graphical detail than knives out but knives out gameplay is way faster than pubg everything is faster
