- Another cover trying to imagine how would have recorded this song our favourite guirarist.

This version has been particularly difficult because Josh had already recorded it in a very similar style to John. But beyond imitating JF, my goal is to offer an alternative version of the song.
·
Obviusly it is imposible to achive a 100%, first because I'm not JF and second because the songs aren't composed for develop John's skills that we know.

Just bumped into this not long ago and it have quickly become one of my most played piece of music in recent days. Goodbye Angels is such a breathtakingly beautiful song and this alternate take manages to sound even better than the studio version. Fantastic work bro!

I was gonna say the part before the first chorus was missing some embellishment notes, as Frusciante usually adds subtle differences in seemingly repetitive parts of songs, but I was glad to see you've added them after said chorus. Great job!

Easy, only clean marshall tone and a Valhalla vintage verb reverb plugin. The Swells was done only with the volume pot😉

Sí, de hecho, The Getaway es un disco que suena bastante a Frusciante, Josh hizo un trabajo magnífico en él. La idea de estos vídeos además de intentar imaginar qué podría haber hecho John es también la de ofrecer algo distinto, para tener una opción más que escuchar.
