a big tip i have for saving is NEVER pull on those Sunday scout/discout gacha scouts EVEN if youre like "oh i have enough" and NEVER do 35 dia solos. save up and resist gacha temptation as best you can!! i know people who saved up 10k f2p jp dia in a year AND spent dia on 3-4 events within that year! its hard but not impossible... merch circles/your device on a merch shrine pour out your heart to the character. gaze at your phone with tears in your eyes and tell them they are your entire world, and you love them so so much. BELIEVE in yourself! hold happiness in your heart. have strong hope! it sucks when your hopes get crushed, but its more or less just a gacha game, let yourself be sad or even shed some tears, the last stage of grief is acceptance and youll feel that eventually and still, you may get the card you want in the future! i hope mayoi comes home for you someday!
