    That is so very very simple! I purposely would not purchase cut and fold because it looked so difficult but last night I accidentally purchased a cut and fold pattern and thought well that's a waste but then looked on youtube and saw your video! I was so thankful. Thank you for sharing and making it so simple. GOD bless you and have a fantastic day!

    THANK YOU! You have made it stupid easy. I bought a pattern and stared at it, like, "There goes $5." This was so incredible helpful.

    Super! Nicely explained, hope my first try goes as easily as you seem to make it. Enjoyed listening to an English accent, as I was born in Bristol. Thanks

    Hello....how can we get pattern measurements?

  • @joyceroberts7772

    So for a beginner, what's the average time a book should take? Let's say with 300+ cut/folds

  • @rosemarylanglands8497

    What do you do if on one page there is two measurements the same

    • @DebbiMooreTV
      @DebbiMooreTV  5 років тому

      If you only have one measurement for both marks, then that means you and up with a point, which is fine

    Debbi I brought your butterfly pattern and it is not coming out correctly. I have followed your instructions but few of the pages are sticking out too far. I really want to do this but I need some help as to what is going on. Who can I contact for help. I know your busy but could you direct me to someone that could get me on the right track.. Thanks for your time

      Hi Louza, , I went into FYOB site and that helped. You do have to set up an account but no credit card info is needed. Hope this helped

      I went to FoldYourOwnBook1 and they will even send you a "test" pattern before you buy - very helpful they are!! I just received a pattern from them for a cut and fold and was totally lost -- till I saw this video by Debbi and she is very clear; I am glad I looked this up.

    some people are not good at teaching ,this is one of them...so we told how to make a stand out image but neglects to tell us how to do the reverse, also mentions nothing about length of cuts, size of card or what to do with alt pages...im going to find another instructor...bookami seems good as does lovebookfolding..

      so since the person complaining is so good at it knock yourself out. I have never done this before and her instructions are perfectly clear

      Sol Cutta, Debbi Moore actually did tell us how to do the reverse!!!! Or at least it didn't take to much thought to figure it out. She stated that for each page if you start with the very first tab and you fold it and then continue folding every other one you end up having the image standing out. Soooo, if the first tab was not folded and start folding on the second tab and do every other one you get the opposite!!!! Image is recessed!!!! Now for your other problem, she stated she makes her cuts up to where the print of the book starts and doesn't cut into the story of the book, Sooo when she uses the card to fold, it would logically be the width of the book starting at spine to where the wording stops or where the folded line would be (keeping the story of the book still intact)!!!! I love this one....the "alt pages as you so call it,lol I can't help it but a page has a front and back to it, so both pages get folded example first page is 1 on the other side of the page is......page 2!!! Next time Sol Cutta you want to be nasty mean to someone better make sure you have a real reason, because in the words of another comment on here Debbi Moore made it very very easy!!!!!

      actually she DID explain EVERYTHING perfectly! Just because YOU didn't seem to understand that is no reason to be rude. smh.
