what makes this hilarious is that the most talented guy in a scene with an entire orchestra is the guy who looks like a character from bill and ted :-) he just looks so ... yngwie. I love it. all respect to the GOAT
To be fair, the orchestra is providing a canvas for him to shred on... none of the players in the orchestra are playing even anywhere near their potential... honestly found this a bit boring and an insult to the orchestra, lol
@@geoffrobson2493 me, other fans, yngwie and the conductor all know this. Of course they are! Everyone knows this. Nevertheless. He's a top 10 guitarist of all time easily. Some would say 5 or even 3. I played 5 instruments and went to a music conservatory. He can't do what they can on technical classical, but they can't do what he does on guitar. No disrespect for the orchestra. Respect for both for making this happen.
Your statement is an absolute insult to all these classical trained musicians. There's no such thing as "talented" at their level. They dedicated their lives to this.
Almost all the 80’s guys are better than modern guitarists. Not a knock on the many fantastic players we have today, the 80’s guys were just that good. Yes, modern players play as complex or sometimes even more complex stuff, but they don’t do it with the same casual ease Malmsteen and co did. They can recite their hard pieces, but someone like Malmsteen didn’t just recite, he performed. Threw the guitar around, run around on stage, play with their teeth and behind their heads. Modern guys don’t have that flair because they have to put more focus on sounding as good as they do, whereas the old virtuosos such as Yngwie plays as naturally as he breathes (not so much these days, age catches up to you)
01:00 - 01:03... Guess how many notes/sec that is and you win whatever is in your fridge of your choosing xD You can practice to one day reach Yngwie speeds, you can practice to play with Yngwie accuracy... But who seriously have the willpower to learn how to be that fast and also with such flawless accuracy? You will have to dedicate most of your life to do it but who can do it and still have a good life? Life is full with too much fun and other important stuff than just one massive priority ;P
He's playing sixteenth note triplets at somewhere between 140bpm and 150bpm (so 14-15 notes per second). Very fast and defintely impressive but not at all unachievable for somebody who puts in work with the metronome, plenty of bedroom shredders could hit those kind of speeds.
@@tomunderwood3756 ya lo , try play solos from Cacophony by marty friedman and jason becker more melody n even more challenging , this gets boring better without an orchestra please

This is brilliant, simply manificent
create
the best of all times
This is so brutally epic that it still gives me the same chills as when I watched it back in 03.
My God! Just outstanding! 🤘👌
it just doesn't get old
Fantastico 💯
It’s like he is possessed by a demon, his skills are far more ahead than a lot of modern guitarists

You have to dedicate almost your life to be even half as good. The question really is whether this is worth it for you personally.

he has a ferrari and he was already good at age 16 , do you know how young metallica members were when they first started ? around same age lol

The best!
BRILLANT!!
I can't believe the intensity, soooo much more then ninety nine percent out there, it'
the end is pretty epic
Only asian musicians with their inherent fine hand-skills can keep up with him
Dude this performance took place in Japan, that is a Japanese instead of Chinese
Fantastic
Genius
Conductor - Yngwie, what note should we play here?
Yngwie - Yes!
Es impresionante lo limpio que es para tocar. El 1 sin lugar a dudas
More notes here than rice grains you ate in your life time
EPIC GUITARRIST

Ингви Мальмстин Умничка, Красавчик!!!❤❤❤🥰🥰🥰👍👍👍
TEACH ME, MASTER!
WOW.
its so fucking metal
Epic
nice! thanks dude
When I think I can play fast I come and watch this video.
Lol when he started playing the actual song, my first thought was "Hey! I've heard him play this before! Why did he slow it down a bunch." I lol'd.
It's roughly the same speed, maybe a tiny bit slower but play along with it and the feel is the only thing different
Paganini was a devilish violinist, and Yngwie is a guitarist...
That chinese guy at 0:07 will never was his hands again, he had the honour to touch Sir Overlord Malmsteen!
My God, it looks like all the string players are sawing their instruments in half as fast as possible! lol
Things get crazy when you turn it to 2x speed
👏👏👏🤟🤟🤟👍👍
he is sloppy on this opening tune but the rest of the show is nearly flawless.
this is sooo good, but Yngwie need to learn that sometimes... less is more.
yamitanomura there's an interview out there of him getting told that, his reaction is "no, more is more"
Yngwie is Thor incarnate
AAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGHHHHHHHH
@MetalzShredah550 pffft...
you wouldn't be watching this now if he had "learnt" that.
De flipar.....😮
сильно..
Я лучше его на планете не видел
😓
ちょっと笑ってしまうわ
…Swedes.
And people like drum machines and asses hanging out of pants with massive gold chains
Even less EPIC!
Xd
man the guy can play (precise, lightning fast) but he can bore as well...
Bucovina
合ってない。笑
Malmsteen is great. Fucking amazing.
But his timing is shit.
このギターのおっさん要らなくね?
Asians...
Rock!
Actually swedish... 🙄
Какой маразм. Взрослый мужик, а все продолжает играть подростковую чушь! Они там ещё, по-моему, несколько раз не попадают в ритм друг с другом.
Tasteless crap.
And I like yngwie!
