- Teresa and Silvina are in café and discuss Teresa's future wedding, marriage of Fernando and Isabel and Silvina tells Teresa the suspition, that Emilio is still in love with Isabel. Corrado made his mind and hurries with his visit of Buenos Aires. Mercedes doesn't understand that and Corrado doesn't listen to any piece of advice of Mercedes. Before leaving Caňada Seca, Corrado talks to Rudy. Corrado wants that Rudy will guide and protect Manuela, when Corrado is away or by the time he will be dead. Corrado also wants, that Rudy won't hurry on Manuela, just give her time to decide and get some experience. Teresa with Leopoldo went shopping and Teresa can't make her mind, which tie to choose. Rudy offers Manuela another opportunity to visit some places together and Manuela still doesn't want to go. The telephone rings and it's Nina. Manuela leaves the scene with anger. Isabel visits Fernando in his office. She informs him, that the results indicates no obstacle to become pregnant and suggests, that the problem could be on Fernando's side. Corrado arrived at Buenos Aires and visited administration of horse-racing club in order to search for husband of Isabel. But he doesn't know first name or surname of the husband. Employee searches the books and finds the surname Willams, but Corrado feels, it's odd name. Fernando voluntarly agrees, he will undergo some analysis to discover, whether he is¨sterile or not. Cella, Lorenzo and Celeste prepares the residence for celebration. Bernarda supervises and orders rearrange the flowers and better clean the glasses. When Bernarda is out of sight, Lorenzo initiate intimate moment with Cella. Rudy talks with Mercedes in kitchen of Verezza's ranch. He informs his aunt, that he will leave soon for his doctoral studies into Roma, and also informs his aunt, that he is in love with Manuela. Isabel and Bernarda are in bedroom and Isabel is angry due to her maculae on her skin. Bernarda suggest to visit dermatologist or doctor Villa. BUt Isabel doesn't want visit any type of medic. The celebration started and all guests talk to each other. Fernando visits doctor Villa and Villa informs him, that the analyses will start as soon as possible. Doctor Villa also assures Fernando, there's nothing to fear from. Corrado makes telephone call home and tells Mercedes, all is going well. But Mercedes feels, there's something wrong with her husband. After the call, Manuela and Mariana appears and Manuela suggests, that Corrado has lover. Mariana suggests, that maybe Corrado has illegitimate child. Mercedes freezes, because of the story, that Corrado told her. Fernando returned from his office home and joins all others in the celebration. After dinner, the celebration turns into dance party. Mercedes and both girls, Manuela and Mariana listen to Rafael, who suggests to sold the piece ofland, where's the house of Mercedes' parents. At the dance-party, Emilio and Isabel resume, how all the members of the celebration have changed. Leonardo has bigger tummy now, Silvina has bigger ass... Fernando seems tired and moves into library with Antonio and aunt Gabriela. All remaining dance under the portrait of Isabel. All the service of Salinas' residence is very tired and stay in kitchen. Bernarda walks in and give orders. The last words are for Felisa - meal was delicious but the rice was overcooked. Fernando wants from aunt Gabriela the help with cards. Fernando wants better and closer look into his future. Corrado has dream, the retrospective of his meeting with Isabel and her future husband ten years ago. He wakes up and remebers the first name of the husband - Fernando. After the dream, he sits in armchair with photo of Manuela in his hands. Aunt Gabriela reveals, that Fernando is in good shape and he will have two children. She also warns him, that there's is menace, represented by some woman. The revelations are interrupted by Bernarda, who informs Fernando, that the celebration will be shortly over and he should give goodbye to all the members of the celebration. Corrado visits the horse-racing club, and asks the barman if he doesn't know the first name and surname of one members. He also shows the photo of Manuela as guide. The barman firstly doesn't know, but then he realizes, that there's could be some hint in the pictures of the outstanding members of the club. After a while, both men reveals the full name - Fernando Salinas. Bernarda takes the breakfast for Isabel into bedroom. After short while, Isabel finds more maculae on her skin and therefore she becomes hysteric.

Creo recordar que en esa historia, la mujer que cría a Isabella no podía tener hijos, y al enterarse de que su marido le es infiel y deja embarazada a la criada se queda con una de ellas. La cual crece en el campo.
La criada se queda con Clara, la otra gemela y es cuando se emplea en la casa de la millonaria y adopta a Clara. Esta crece con lujos, viajes, estudios, vestidos costosos, y en un viaje en París conoce a Fernando.
Lo único que tiene es belleza.. Por eso se desespera.. Pobre Isabel
CONRADO ANDA EN BUSQUEDA DE ISABEL!
El personaje de Fernando, se comporta a veces como un idiota que simplemente se quizo engañar sólo, ya que Isabe desde el comienzo le mostró como era ella y él forzo todo y se hizo el idiota y tonto en no ver lo que estaba en enfrente de él, lo que realmente era Isabel, una persona soberbia, egoísta y mala.

Rebecca de Alfred hitchcock de ahí está sacada esta novela, alterando la historia claro, de otra manera está película debería llamarse Isabel un personaje mucho más carismático e interesante que Manuela

Essa novela é muito doida igual o escritor pq as idades é muito desordenada, o Fernando ficou cm a mesma idade esperando a Manuela crescer sendo que pela ordem já era pra ele ter uns 70 anos e pai da Manuela já era pra ter morrido faz tempo pq quando era pequena já era muito velho e a Izabel continuou com a mesma idade

La misma escenografía que usan para oficina donde esta el abogado también la usan para la casa de Emilio, la tienda donde Bernarda pidio las pieles para Isabel y ahora como recepción de un hotel donde esta el padre de Manuela. No parece una coproducción con Italia , Es muy berreta todo
