So Safe flight looks like 50mph to 75mph so it seems the only way they gone make a profitable trip is with very short trips. Probably to fly OVER trafic
Want to get a feel for what Archer's Midnight sounds like in comparison to Joby's S4? We took a dB meter and a video camera to the airports where they conduct their test flights. We measured a very different value than 65dB for Midnight. ua-cam.com/video/FFguE2qWPfk/v-deo.html
Thanks for sharing your experience and taking the time to measure the noise levels! It’s interesting to hear that the values you recorded differ from the 65dB reported by Archer. Real-world testing can sometimes bring different results compared to official specs, especially depending on the environment. I’ll definitely check out your video-it's always valuable to see firsthand insights! Thanks for contributing to the conversation!
@bigdog343 Stellantis’ partnership with Archer is definitely a game changer! Their strong backing could significantly boost Archer’s capabilities in manufacturing, scaling, and tech integration. With Stellantis' expertise in automotive manufacturing and their commitment to sustainable mobility, this collaboration should help streamline Archer's production and potentially speed up their eVTOL rollout. It’s exciting to see how this partnership will enhance Archer’s position in the eVTOL space!
Nope. Lillium is NOT "in the game". Airline investments are DUMB. they need to concentrate on. The AIRLINE business. If any of these expensive science experiments ever come to fruition, then figure out if they want to contract with them. Airlines right not could care less how the customer gets to the airport. Why would that ever change?
How long do it take to Recharge the Batteries
do they currently have to land at the Airport(s)???
Wonder how much do it currently cost to fly from Columbia, SC to Atlanta, GA?? and how often is those flights.
How does it perform with a Full Crew of 5 folks or say added weight of 100Lbs. maybe another 200 Lbs for luggage
Not sure why you're calling this a flying "car". It is a compact VTOL, it's a new segment in the transportation industry as a whole.

Some folks can see the future, others cannot. These things will be aloft all over major cities if humans survive long enough to make it there.
This is some truly terrible audio quality.
