So many 2024 projects!! Exciting!! I just went and purchased the Planting Seeds sock pattern! Those are soooo cute! Can’t wait to make them! Thanks for sharing! Hope you’re well 😊 This is Mallory from Strings Attached btw 😉
Hi Carla, what a fun list of socks to come. The Make Nine series was a lot of fun and gave me some ideas too. I just finished a pair of socks for my DIL's birthday. I'm going to make a dish cloth and then tackle another WIP. Stay warm and I'll see you soon.
Hi Candee!! Good for you finishing up a gift knit!! I’ve been enjoying crocheting up dishcloths-a fun, quick project! We had another snow day here-pretty cold, but great for staying inside knitting and crocheting! Take care!!😊

Hi Carla! Socks are my favorite things to make too. You are going to love making the Hedwig socks. I used blue beads for the eyes which looked perfect. The size bead was 6. The socks I have my eyes on are the Grannies in a Row socks. They look pretty cool to make. Happy Sock Knitting!
I love all of those socks! I gave the planting seeds one too. There are a couple more on your list that I’ve seen before and love….the cozy cabin? one and another by the same designer. I need to go look those up. Thanks for sharing your plans with us!!
Hi Susan!!! So many fun projects - I just want to knit EVERYTHING!! The worsted weight sock patterns by This Yellow Farmhouse are really fun and quick!!😊
Love all the sock patterns! I made a pair of socks with Knit Picks Aloft held with a fingering weight yarn, and they are SOOOO cozy! I only wear them inside the house as when worn inside shoes or boots my feet get too hot 😊 I'm mainly working on my Make Nine Wip board at the moment. One project is finished and another almost. Then I only have one more short-term knitted project before I can cast on something from my Make Nine New board, and yes, it will probably be socks.
Hi Danielle!! Thank you so much! And thanks for sharing about your sock experience holding Aloft with fingering weight - I appreciate hearing about your socks. Good luck with all of your Make Nine plans!! And happy sock knitting!!!😄
What a beautiful sock board! The one that stood out most is the Waiting For Henry. I knit them a few years ago. They are so beautiful and fun to knit. I'm not a fan of colorwork fan but this one was good. Thank you for sharing. I am going to stash dive for the Country Cabin socks now LOL
Hi Bobbi!! Thank you so much!! I've only done one colorwork sock before, so I'm looking forward to trying again! I hope you will LOVE the Country Cabin socks!! ❤
Those cabin socks are cute! The indulgent socks have been on my radar too! Suri would feel amazing!! Beautiful yarns, can't wait to see them all! I don't have any sock knitting plans really...just want to make my SIL a pair and myself a pair?
hey, carla! i love your make 9 sock board! of course, i can’t wait to see how your michigan socks in michigan yarn turn out. i’ll just keep on with my vanilla socks - both dk and fingering. i did make some bed socks with just the toes in alpaca - neuropathy - one of the pleasures of old age (not!), after wearing 3 (!) pairs of fingering weight socks every night 2 winters ago. i laughed when you said that your daughter was making slime in your craft room, like it was nothing out of the ordinary😆. almost forgot - i’d love to see a video with your shawls, afghans, anything!
Hi Jane!! Thank you!! I think the Michigan socks will be cast on in May-Jeff and I will be going to visit my parents so that I can spend Mother's Day with my mom! Your bed socks with the alpaca toes - nice to keep those toes toasty! Jenna was so big into slime years ago-it was fun to see her doing that again. Although, she's a bit of a messy crafter😆I am thinking of doing videos this summer - one featuring shawls, one sweaters, and one socks. I've been wanting to do that for awhile, but time gets away from me. One week to go in my school year!! Take care!!😊
@@carlaknitspodcast3392 oh, lucky you - have a wonderful mother’s day with your mom. ah, yes, time has a way of slipping away - no rush (or it’ll just be a chore…instead of yarny fun!). good luck in your last week!
Great collection of yarn and patterns! Planting Seeds might be perfect for some of my stash. I don’t usually buy patterns on Etsy, so that one wasn’t on my radar yet. 😊
My focus for 2024 is a stash down paired with a WIP down. I didn't realize how many WIP's I have in the works and certainly want to get a handle on those although would love to start new projects. So many patterns so much yarn so little time. 🙂

Hi Lisa!! Stashing down and working on WIPs are a big part of my plans too!! And I agree - not enough time to knit all of the things!!!😃
Would you consider making a "sock wardrobe" tour? Like a video of all the socks you have made for yourself? Really enjoying the podcast!
Hi Rachel!! Ooh YES, that would be fun!! I do have quite a few to go through.....🤣
