OMG. We are so glad we found your channel. Love your style, tips, and the way your present. We are kinda new and growing slowly. Much appreciation for your videos!
Thank you Amanda I appreciate all your suggestions. Tried Instagram before but it was a disaster. I feel a little more confident this time and your video really helped !!
Thanks for sharing these important tips and I like your easy flow. I am hoping to do IG live soon and as a Baby Boomer, I'm terrified but will certainly try.
I liked how creative you are with this video doing it in a livestream format! I'm yet to have my first livestream (terrified that I'll be just mumbling, or that no one will show up hehe), so this was super helpful. Particularly the tip on to start straight away. In a lot of the live streams I've seen, the host waits for 5 (sometimes even more!) minutes for people to gather and officially start. I even thought that was the way to go - although it didn't feel right to wait for others for so long.. Now I know that I shouldn't be doing that. Will you be covering the technical aspects of running a livestream? I.e. which software to use, if you need someone else helping you etc? I think that would be helpful too.
What a great suggestion! I'll add this to my next batch of videos. My quick answer is to not overthink it. This past week on my IG (@ahvisions), I just held out my phone and went live without a light or mics! There's levels that you can add to it to make it more professional though so I'll do a video about it 😎 Thank you for watching, going on this journey yourself and taking the time to provide your feedback and insights! I read all the comments and so appreciate when someone takes the time to reply in this manner. Thank you 🙏💕✨😊🤗
I’ve been doing live interviews on Instagram and yours videos help me a lot. My main takeaway is to start strong the first five seconds of the livestream to start strong and pace myself.
This was SO helpful! Thanks so much for this! You gave great solutions for just about every insecurity I've had about livestreaming. Your tips give me great structure for my next livestream. I already know I'm going to feel much more confident and it'll be a higher quality experience for my viewers and for the replay. Thanks again!
Thank, thank you for this video. Ive been sitting in front of my camera for over 2 hours trying to rehearse before going live 😅. This has really helped me get more organized and feel less anxious.
Ehhhh welcome to the channel! Been a big fan of yours. I really think you can get some nuggets from this channel to improve the video quality of yours. You're crushing it though ✨ keep up the good work!
Yay! So glad to hear that 👏👏👏 where do you go live the most? Aka what platform? Drop the link to your profile and people may click over and see what you're up to!!
@@AmandaHorvath when I go live I usually use Streamyard and I multistream in all my main social media platforms (IG, Facebook, LinkedIn) at the same time. Now I'm doing a 10-day challenge with live mini-sessions on Perfectionism. I would love to hear your feedback! Www.instagram.com/antiloneliness
Quick question, when I watch the comments on other people's lives, the go by so fast. How do you coordinate trying to catch a comment as it flies by while continuing to engage your audience?
if I am performing( playing the piano) and the phone is on the tripod, I would have to get up to see who is commenting. workarounds? Also can I use another device other the streaming device for this? Thanks!
is there a way of using some sort of teleprompter when doing live videos on instagram or facebook? It seems that all teleprompter apps do not open whilst insta app is open. Any workaround it?
I'd say that's too stressful! You can have an outline that you use but teleprompters will create a gap between you and the audience and strip away your authenticity! I think the solution is a well planned outline and don't be afraid to just look down and use it!
that is such a shame, i wish you were still doing it. i would have loved to speak to you … my content is around money and love so basically it includes it all about life. please think about it. thank you in advance for your time
hello hello thank you so much for your video. i did learn a lot. i tried to find you on IG, i couldnt. i have been doing over 150hrs of lives to create a sunday club to hang out via Live to talk about money and love 12 pm est … i would love love to have you on and if you are still doing your lives i would love love to cam up. i just cant find you :(
Thanks, Amanda for the amazing and useful video tutorial. I think the main problem people face is the quality. When I need to have a high-quality live video on IG I definitely use YellowDuck .tv because it allows me to go live from my PC or Mac (the camera is stable and provides us high-quality IG LIVE)
hi are you still doing your lives? i have created a virtual village, a safe space to exchange knowledge and perceptions and i would love for people to join the talk. thank you for your time
Thank you so much. I started doing IG lives on Monday and am looking to improve. You give great tips. Very practical and very well done.

Hi, Can you recommend a good stand for my phone for live videos?
Can I see the link to your other script convert
TY. BUT I WAS HOPING TO SEE A LITTLE MORE TECHNICAL SHOW AND TELL. DO YOU HAVE OTHER VIDEOS ON THAT?
What cameras do you all use for a clear picture?

Short and sweet! Thank you for the energy packed advice to go live on UA-cam.
Thanks for the continued support and encouragement ✨💕🙏
Seem you can't use external mics when going live on Instagram
hi are you still doing your lives?
Hi Amanda - Are you still doing IG Lives on Tuesdays?
Hey! I no longer am - only cause the algorithm def started preferring other types of content (aka reels!). It was fun while I did it though
@@AmandaHorvath Do you recommend doing a reel instead now?
